Q: Hello 5i, I am looking to invest in one or two Canadian real estate ETF. Can you suggest me 3 names with low cost, a good performance and low debt. Thank you! Jean
Q: Hi, I currently hold ENB (0.53%), PPL (1.03%), TOU (0.48%), and WCP (0.37%), total of 2.42% of my portfolio. I actually have ENB in my utility sector weighting, which would make my overall energy even lower. Would you consider it 50/50 energy/utility??
I'm looking at slightly increasing my sector weight in energy to maybe 4-5% since its so low (mostly because my current holdings have gone down or I've sold previous energy positions). Energy companies in Canada have been hit so badly its hard to put money back into the sector right now. I know you hold MCR in your portfolio and you like PXT and SU. Based on the current valuations/fundamentals and future potential, should I add to any of my current positions, sell them, or add PXT or SU to the mix?? How would you suggest consolidating these?
Q: Cve announced today that they are planning to reduce carbon emissions. Is QST the only company that can benefit from this trend or is there more names? Thanks
What are your thoughts on ATZ’s latest quarter? Can it be considered a “little Lululemon?” Does it have potential to be a part of 5i’s growth portfolio given the overlap with Canada Goose?
Thanks for all the great work by 5i in 2019,
Angelo
Q: With the recent jump in ATZ Im up about 35% in the past year on this company. Is it
time to "take the money and run" or do you think there is still room for growth with this company?
Q: I noticed that pot companies like WEED fall within the Healthcare sector. Why wouldn't pot companies be categorized like tobacco and liquor stocks? Also, there is a lot of hype associated with pot stocks and I sometimes wonder if investors are not taking into account the potential risks - health problems related to smoking and the mental issues to some users. I recall a time when tobacco was advertised by medical doctors and now tobacco companies are being sued.
Q: Re article in today’s National Post re ETF of ETF’s, no ticker symbols were included. Can you provide same and indicate your opinion on general suitability and if favourable your choice?
Thank you for considering my question
Q: Hello 5i, I have ~ 20% position in LSPD with an average cost of $ 39.15.. @ current level I am finally up... I plan to hold it for 1-2 years.. What are your thoughts on the company in terms of cash flow ? if they are not cash flow +ve, when has management stated that they will be? And do you have a target price?

Carlo
Q: Hi gang, I am planning to into investing in bank ETF. Which one would you recommend zeb or Zwb? Or any other you would suggest? 3-5 years hold . Thanks

Q: My 82 year old mother in law has $300,000 in a RRIF and $800,000 in non registered accounts. There are 3 children who are equal equal beneficiaries in her will. From a tax perspective would she be better off withdrawing more than the required minimum from the RRIF before she dies or withdrawing more from the non registered accounts? Which scheme would result in less tax paid by her heirs ? The non registered accounts are 80% GICs and 20% equity funds. Thanks, Joe
Q: Hi, I do not have any bonds or fixed income. Looking for one or two prospects to start, with about $50,000 to invest. Would like 3-4%+income. What are your views on the above, and of course any other you may suggest. Would like one size fits all if possible.
Also in a possible 30% downturn in the market , how much would a bond etf cushion the blow?
Thanks
