I am in the process of converting my RRSP into a RRIF.

I also have a USD-SDRSP, would you know how the conversion of a US based account works?

Q: Could you suggest 2 safer Canadian stocks to go with QSR, GSY and SLF to add to my grandsons RESP for a long term hold. Dividend would be nice but not necessary.

I'm down 20% on QSR so would you sell at this time to add to the others?

In your answer today to Stephen, you suggest TIP for a non-registered account. Would you know what is the tax paid on the dividend? I think it's taxed as interest?
