Investment Q&A

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: You have mentioned in the past that MX "has some degree over methanol prices" yet the main reason for the current decline in profits was low pricing. Just how much ability to price products do they really have? Will the new facility, once it is on stream, increase this ability? I still like the company but I am wondering if pricing truly provides any kind of advantage.

Appreciate your insight.

Q: Hi,

I'm looking for 2 lo-volatility US healthcare picks for the next few years, can you choose one of these (CNC, WCG, UNH, AET, CVS, CI, ANTM,HCP) or any others you prefer?

Second question is there an area of healthcare you think I should stay away from for the next (probably volatile) year?

Q: I'm looking at the dividend return on the food royalty companies, which look very attractive. I don't own anything in this area. Is there an ETF that holds a bundle of these companies? If so, is that a good way to get in? Or rather, buy one or more companies. If so, which ones. Thanks!

Given the volatile market and demographic, what will be the suggested % for healthcare sector? Currently I don't have much in healthcare and I want to add healthcare etf to my TFSA account, what's the differences between XLV , IHI and IXJ? In terms of valuation and growth, which one will be best to buy now for TFSA? Thanks.
