Q: SPB is taking quite a hit today. Was the last quarter that bad, or is something else happening?

Q: Hello 5i Research...I have a very elderly family member who needs to re-structure her TFSA . Investment horizon may be under 3 years. GIC's are used in other accounts. We are looking for an ETF solution that will provide a decent level of capital safety and some monthly income (above GIC levels).
We were thinking a combo of XTR , CVD, CPD . XCB and CBO. Is there a one fund solution solution that you might endorse? What percentage split of funds might be appropriate in the current environment?
thanks/art

Q: Is it time to get rid of PFE. I've had this for years and done well but it's been on a downward trend for a while now. What was once a 45% gain has dwindled to 13%. This is starting to remind me of GE where you hang on hoping for a turn around and nothing but bad news keeps happening. Thinking of replacing it with CVS. Your opinion is greatly appreciated.
thanks

Q: Could I please have your thoughts on the ETF, which seems to contain several of the largest oil producers. Is this a case where a large portion of the distribution is a return of capital as the dividend seems very high.
Thanks, David

Q: CPH just released Q results, do you see things turning around? They have more cash and less debt than last quarter and they continue to make a profit - please evaluate these metrics. Finally, would you comment on the initiatives outlined in the strategic update?

Q: What do u think of this company for a 1-2 year hold ,specifically management, dividend safety, and any growth possibilities thanks

Q: I see PLC just released results which fell short of analyst expectations. Had a quick look through the latest financials and noticed increase in revenue and net income, decrease in long term debt levels however this looked to be funded by a share issue. I get that PLC is acquisitive and doesn't have the cash flow to fund all of the acquisitions. But does the constant issuance of shares concern the team at 5i? I guess stock performance to date indicates market is not worried about it. Any concerns with starting a position held in a TFSA?
