Q: Hi Peter, Ryan and Team,
Thank you for the service that you provide, it's been invaluable.
I currently have held JPM for the last few years and it's effectively been a net gain of zero. I think it might be time to move on for a bit and perhaps look to buy back at a later date. We already hold VEEV, AYX, TEAM, DOCU, TTD, NVDA, and QCOM, so I'm looking for a non-tech suggestion as to where to move. I'm hoping that you could provide a list of 2-3 quickly growing large(ish) US companies that ideally are near debt free and meet this criteria.

Q: Hello:

It seems b/c DGRC is not heavy on Energy and Financials, it has done better than ZDV/VDY.
Going forward, should one add to one's DGRC position or VDY/ZDV. Out look for energy is still bleak, isn't it?

My main aim is to enhance Dividends, get tax credits in our non RRSP portfolio. Safety is always a concern and I presume all of them offer some safety though not 100% as they are all based on stocks after all.

Also how do these ETFS compare with VCIP which I presume will be safer but less tax efficient and less growth?

Q: Hi Group I have AEM,GLD, FNV,GDXJ in my present Gold holdings, that represents 7% of my portfolio. I would like to go to 10% (your thoughts on moving to 10%) .Should I buy another stock or add to one of my present holdings (GDXJ) is my best performer. I am medium risk investor. Appreciate your comments

Q: Hi 5i Team:
RE: WFH (Work From Home ETF) from Direxion.
This ETF just came out June 25th .. do not see it in your database.
What is your opinion of the theme of this ETF ?
Would be a satellite holding in my portfolio.
Seems to make a lot of sense in the current COVID-19 environment.
Or could you recommend another ETF or stock that you like the prospects of going forward in this new investing environment ?

Q: Alvopetro Energy Ltd. have recently commenced natural gas deliveries.
The company is now generating free cash flow that can be reinvested into other growth opportunities.
They have a long-term sales agreement with Bahiagás, the local distribution company for the state of Bahia.
Looks pretty good to me. What is your view ?

Q: Looking for a safe place to park my Moms Money. I was thinking about XLB , but the risk reward there is crazy in my view.
The draw down the way i see it was around 26.5% back in March, this to me looks like the Bond Market isn't functioning properly. She currently owns Scotia Innova Income portfolio which pays a distribution of 3% . The draw down in that fund last March was around 8% i believe, this to me not making much sense either when comparing it to XLB
Considering the issues mentioned above, Does purchasing GICs seem rationale to you considering these crazy times.

Q: Hi Team. I am so happy that i joined your team 2 years ago i stopped buying those foolish marijuana stocks. After i joined your team i am getting some of my earned money back down 11% in my overall tfsa account.
I hold as tech stocks in my account Lspd, Real, Msft i would like to add a small portion of another tech company. For a 2 year hold which one would you recommend for growth to me between DSG and ENGH. Or would you reccmend another tech stock for good qrowth. Thanks for all the help guy's .

Q: I have owned TRP and ENB for years (10+) and have done well with both stocks. They have now become less than 1/2 weight positions at around 4% of my total portfolio. I was thinking of adding to them but I've been asking myself if I really want to add to positions when it's becoming just as difficult to repair pipelines as it is to build them. The dividends are nice but they haven't offset the decline in the respective stock prices so on a total return basis both companies are still negative for the year. I was thinking of switching out of TRP and ENB into VZ where I can get a similar dividend yield in a utility sector name but remove some of the industry noise associated with pipelines. Thoughts? Q: From yesterday's question, you talked a company ARTG.V which has production forecast of around 480K ounce but price recently gone up to around $7. However, I noticed another gold mine company Orezone which claim has 1.6M ounce gold deposit but the price is only $0.99. Has the ORE.V been under valued or ARTG.V been over valued? Both company market cap are similar at 220M and 248M. Can you provide some analysis on ORE.V?

Q: Hi Guys
Savaria has fallen the last few months quite a bit. I would have thought in a world where people are motivated to stay in their homes, rather than move to long term care, it would be seen as a stock that would benefit from this trend, and the stock would follow.. I know they have companies they own in China - do you think this could be the reason - a concern about this part of their business given current CDN relations with China? I was thinking of adding to my existing position - up to about a 3% position - your thoughts?

Q: This is a follow up to my question yesterday about fixed income investments and inflation/ interest rates.

If one is of the view that interest rates will increase, what is your advice about real return bonds, versus regular bonds. Does it make sense for most investors to hold real return bonds in their fixed income portion of their portfolio? If so, what is the maximum percentage of their fixed income portion that you would recommend that real return bonds take? How best should an investor buy fixed return bonds - does an ETF make sense, and which one would you recommend?
