Q: Good morning, I hold ASR, AEM and BTO. I am looking to add one more gold name. Also, would you keep ASR as it transitions into SSR? Please provide me your top two mid-cap gold names.

Q: Hi Guys
In regard to IPL's new Heartland Petrochemical Complex I understand at a approximately $4.0 billion cost it is a fairly big bet on the future and some of these things have cost overruns but this one, this far, seems to be on budget and will provide a new stream of income for IPL going forward, yet everyone seems to be negative on this project and the stock. And it seems given the cost of gas locally it should be successful at producing polypropylene at a profit. Could I get your thoughts on the project and stock in terms how risky it is going forward and if you think when the project is finished this could create a bit more interest with investors? Do you know whether they have contracts in place yet for the finished polypropylene? And finally do you think they have a solid Management team in place at IPL?

Q: This pharma. comp. recently had studies, showing positive results when linking a base drug to its hydrogen sulfide releasing molecule . so that the drug would be easier on the body when taken. Yet the stock went down from its high of $0.80 ( plus ) to the now price $ 0.42. Appreciate any comments you may have on this company and what the future might hold for the technique they are developing . Thanks

Q: I currently hold BEP.UN in a non-registered account. Up 70%. Was going to swap with BEPC, until I read your response to an earlier question that this would be a taxable event. I had assumed it would not be as I thought I was trading like for like. Can you please explain? Similarly, I replaced BIP.UN with BIPC in the same non-registered account on the same understanding. Is that also a taxable event? And lastly, assuming I'll be paying capital gains on my 70% profit with BEP, do you see any advantage of going forward with swapping it out for BEPC? Thank you.

Thank you for the new update on Interrent REIT.
Reviewing the new report on Interrent REIT, the Peer Relative Evaluation section compares Interrent against ten REITs, however only two of the ten REITs (CAR.UN & NVU.UN) are in the residential apartment sector.
1 - Please comment on how companies are selected for the Peer Relative Evaluation section.
2 - Would it be more appropriate to compare Interrent against the major residential apartment REITs (BEI.UN, CAR.UN, KMP.UN, MI.UN, MRG.UN, NVU.UN) than to the Office, Industrial, Retail REIT section?
3 - Also given NVU.UN is subject to a takeover, is this a reasonable comparison?

Q: 5i, I was watching one of those money-market-stock TV shows, and this guru comes out of nowhere and said SHOP is might be go down to 300 dollars, out of fear (I should have done it before) I trimmed down a bit since I was up about 400% (thank you), what do you think, how do you sewe SHOP over the next 2 years.

Q: are you at all suspicious of the complex interconnectedness of the Brookfield group of companies? All seems well but like the predecessor Hees-Edper group of companies, would a slowdown cause a tumbling of dominoes?

Forgive me for thinking 'thrice bitten - always shy' but it seems many are on the Brookfield boat.
