Q: Hi, for AAG - everything related to Peru is weak right now pending their election.

My question - what are your highest conviction growth picks (any country) that you think can grow over 50% revenue for each of the next 3 years without hiccups. Current valuation doesn't matter given the fact that if they can execute that growth they will grow into any present valuation assigned.

Q: I have held onto a significant position in PTU in my TFSA (no losses claimable), for a long time awaiting or perhaps I should say hoping for a possible resurgence of value which appears to be slowly taking place. I am now in profit and would appreciate your opinion. Would you consider it a continuing hold or sell with the recent uptick in Uranium stocks.

I’ve half position in CAE and in MG. I’m thinking of starting a half position in TFII. All three stocks have gone up quite a bit in the past year with the EV fads and the post covid fads. Which of these three companies is the best buy at the current price for 2-3 years hold and your reasoning behind? Thanks.

Q: Hi,

I'm seeing more and more evidence for inflation being a real thing that is not yet formally accepted by US or CDN governments. Evidence is obvious increases in the price of some common items (food, lumber, metals, housing) and also an uptick in commentary on the subject by some trusted SA authors.

Can you provide some sectors that typically benefit from increases in inflation (Gold, Finance, etc) as well as some specific company plays that would benefit from increases (Can or US).

Q: Good Morning,
My portfolio, although generally diversified across all sectors, is definitely tilted toward growth stocks and technology. It reached peak value in mid-February, but things have gone downhill since. The market shift to value, materials, financial, and industrial stocks continues to push my personal NAV lower. I know this is driven by the fear of increasing interest rates and inflation. I have only made some minor tweaks to my mix of holdings, but in your experience, is it time for investors to lighten up significantly on growth stocks, or will the pendulum swing back with so many positive earnings reports. Of course, this is somewhat of a market prediction question, but do these trends last for years? My investment horizon is about 5 years. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you for your excellent service, which (by the way) is attributable to substantial gains in my portfolio since I became a member.

Q: We have about an 11% position in this etf (ZQQ). In the 5 years we have held this etf which was suggested to us by 5i, we have had about a 150% gain - thank you 5i Team. Almost half of these are held in TFSA or RIF accounts, and so not subject to capital gain tax . Due to strength in the Canadian dollar, we are considering switching some or all of the non taxable portion to a similar or identical etf that is not hedged to the Canadian dollar. We understand this would be solely a currency call. We would appreciate your thoughts on this and suggestion of suitable non-hedged Canadian ETFs. We think the MER on ZQQ is a bit high.

Q: Hello, it was announced that Neighbourly Pharmacy chain files to go public on TSX with $150-million IPO. What do you think of this IPO? Could Neighbourly Pharmacy become a strong competitor to other pharmacy chains such as Shoppers Drug Mart? Do they already have stores in almost all Provinces of Canada. Thank you
