Q: Hi Folks,
I would like to invest in one of SLF, MFC or GWO. May I have your opinion as to which one you feel would be best today? This would be for my RRSP account.

Q: I am looking to buy Enbridge and see that it is currently close to the top of the 52-week trading range. The range is $52 to $66. Today's price is $65. The 5-year graph and 10-year graph show the price all over the map, with the price now close to the all-time high.

I am buying for both income and capital appreciation. What would a good entry price be? Thank you.

Q: Good Afternoon
I am attempting to diversify away from NVDA due to its large percentage of my holdings. I also have good gains in both NBIS and VRT although I am comfortable with their current weighting and both have room to grow. Assuming all 3 will somewhat move in unison does it make more sense to pick a non AI related stock rather than add to NBIS and VRT? If that is the case can you give me suggestions on what to add?

Q: I already have a little of NBIS. I am wondering if I should get into a CRWV position now that the price has dipped.

Otherwise, I would to my small NBIS position (80 shares @ USD 40).

At what price would you start a half position in CRWV? At what price would add to an existing NBIS position.

Q: This may, (or may not) be a stupid, amateur question:
Some BIP.UN metrics are good, but the PB is 14.97 and PE !,011.45!
How can one buy something like that?
This is an extreme case, but you now frequently recommend stocks at 40, 50 and higher PE's. Leaving all else aside, that, at minimum, is a sign of a stock priced to perfection, no?

Q: I have held MX for a few years and watched it bounce up and down and have never been smart enough to take advantage of its cyclicality and sell on its way up. Its currently at the lower end of its trading band. If it were you, would you wait for the next leg up to sell and move into CNQ or would you make the trade now? My hesitancy is that MX would appear to have a much higher short/medium term potential than CNQ and I would hate to miss that,

Q: I hold HHL in my RRIF which is primarily focused on income. I am considering switching HHL to
HHLE. This would increase my income by approximately 30% on this money and allow me to keep the same list of healthcare stocks. Does this make sense; any downsides ; am I missing anything?

As an aside , I am at breakeven with HHL as the sector is under pressure from Trump and also United Healthcare has dampened the sector. But with Trump wanting lower drug prices , the companies will be going overseas to compensate for lower US revenue as witnessed by Eli Lilly raising international prices for Mounjaro.

Q: In terms of positioning, the easiest answer is to just rebalance and trim some areas that have done well over the last few months and add to more defensive areas like fixed income or maybe more value oriented areas.

This is what 5i responded to an earlier question. In your view, what would those « more value oriented «  areas be?

Q: I hold these 3 stocks for income and have seen capital erosion in recent years with weakness in the telecom sector. In terms of industry concentration, how much overlap is there between the three (Telus has held up best), would you recommend letting one or two of them go, which one(s), and what would you recommend in the general sector as a replacement (US or Cdn)?

In particular, I am curious about BCE's prospects following the US acquisition after selling MLSE stake, dividend cut, debt, and scaling back of capex.

Q: Hello team
with the Fed govt going into more debt , interest rate pending cut by Bank of Canada
what is going to happen to the bond funds in gneral? I do have XBB, XLB all losing some grounds
If indeed there is inflation due to the tariffs hitting the basic goods and little growth, how does it affect the bond funds?
