Q: Hi All at 5i!
I am significantly underwater in these stocks in my TFSA. Should I sell off the little I have left and redirect the funds. I don't need the money at the moment, but also don't want to throw away what is left. Do either of these have a significant future to warrant hanging on?? Cheers, Tamara

Cobre Panama Supreme Court Update

TORONTO, Nov. 28, 2023 /CNW/ - Franco-Nevada Corporation ("Franco-Nevada") (TSX: FNV) (NYSE: FNV) is aware that the Supreme Court of Panama announced this morning that Law 406, the law that approved the revised concession contract for the Cobre Panama mine, is unconstitutional. Franco-Nevada is in communication with its partner First Quantum Minerals Ltd. and will provide further updates as they are available.

Q: Given your "We feel that we are currently coming out of the trough, recovering into an expansion" would you endorse SLF to BNS switch for 7% div and eventual BNS stock recovery (how likely)?

Q: Recently watched the Blackberry move and it was excellent. We know how things ended but they had a good run when they were winning but missed where the market was heading. Looking back over years there was the PC/Internet revolution followed by the mobile/smartphone revolution and now what appears to be the AI revolution. In hindsight buying and holding Microsoft, Apple, Google, Nvidia etc made sense. With AI the next frontier what stocks do you think will be the next big winners; same names as the past or are there new names we should investing in?

Q: re: Indra's question about UK and Hong Kong withholding taxes:
S&P Dow Jones Indices maintains a list of withholding tax rates for every country.
(google S&P Global withholding tax rates.)
The UK and Hong Kong have 0 withholding tax.

Q: Sector weightings
Recently 5i advised industrial sector weight at 22%. Suggestion - publish sector weights monthly. Would be helpful for those of us who put alot of emphasis on sector weights.
