Q: Hi 5I.
Samsung has announced that they will start large-scale production of the next generation of high-bandwidth memory chips as soon as this month which seems to be a significant threat to MU who's recent success lies in the production of HBM chips. I was about to take a position in MU and this news has dampened my decision. Your thoughts and guidance please.

Q: I have securities in my RRIF that have a gain. Sometme in 2026 I plan to sell some of these stocks in order to satisfy CRA requirements. Because the stocks that I will be selling have a gain, not a loss I assume that I can buy them immediately in my non registered account. Am I correct in my assumption? Thank You.

Q: What does the term “correction” mean when used to describe drops in the market like the one we are now experiencing, for example? If it means that prices were too high and the correct price is now in place, why would we expect stock prices to return to the old “too high” prices? Or is that only a few stocks were overpriced and in need of correcting but everything gets caught in the downdraft? To me it seems that stocks are simply dropping in price!

Appreciate your insight.

Q: Another one on Constellation.

All software stocks bounced nicely, in Friday's trading ( IGV - Tech software ETF also bounced off its low of $80, Thursday ).

But, on a day like this, CSU is down 4% (after reversing from $2570, on Thursday ), contrasting the trend of its peers. If CSU has been hammered, over past several months, due to AI scare, like many other software Co's, it should follow the trend and be up today, but sadly no.

It appears to me that CSU may have found a bottom, in the near term ( $2175-$2200), but could well remain range bound, until posting at least a couple of solid quarters, irrespective of the general trend in software co's ( AI related fears).

Would you agree with these observations ?

Thank You
