Q: Antti Aarnio-Wihuri is now 85 years old. He is the primary owner of the Wihuri group, which in turn is the major shareholder (~50% IIRC?) of Winpak. Your recent report on Winpak is great, but doesn't contemplate the eventual transition of Wihuri's leadership and what that might mean for WPK. Potential for Wihuri to buy the WPK that it does not already own?

Q: I have about a 6-7% position in each of bep.un, bip.un and BN. I am thinking of adding a bit of BAM (eg.3%) But i am wondering if adding bam would duplicate too much of the components of the other three. Would Bam add much to my portfolio is there too much duplication?

-
Topicus.com Inc. (TOI $184.29)
-
Lumine Group Inc. (LMN $53.08)
Q: Topicus and Lumine shares are hitting all time highs, which is Awesome !!!
But, at the same time, the parent Constellation Software stock has been struggling to break back above $5,000 level and still trading well below its high of $5,332, reached in May, this year. CSU shares seemed to have lost momentum, right after its last earnings release and have n't recovered, since.
What has caused the recent sluggish pattern with CSU ? Do you consider this trend, simply short term ? Are there any near term catalysts ?
Also, curious, what percentage of Constellation's market cap comprises of its ownership in TOI and LMN ( present and any future conversions ) ?
Ignoring any personal advice, would you be comfortable and consider an ownership of CSU,TOI and LMN at 10%, 4% and 4% levels, respectively, as a decent mix, in a Balanced Portfolio with a Growth bias ?
Thank You

Q: Good Afternoon,
After reading the recent report updates, I followed 5i and sold my share in ATS. Besides some shares in AC, I have very little exposure to industrials. Just looking for advice on U.S. or Canadian industrial share(s) I should consider. Any ETFs?
Regards,
Ryan

Q: Hello Peter & Team,
You often Mention ZRE as a good option for exposure in the RE Sector and I have held it for some time. The dividend is ok but, I am under water a little over 8% since taking on the position in 2023, and I'm getting a little weary of waiting... If you suggest to continue staying the course (always long term holds in my portfolio) because you expect I will climb out of this hole, then that is what I will do. But if you think I might be happier moving on to an alternative that you could recommend which might generate some gains while providing solid income along the way, it would be a recommendation I wouldn't say no to.
Thanks for all you do

Q: Many thanks for your detailed response to my recent question on Google - "https://www.5iresearch.ca/questions/186348". Is it fair to assume that with 50+% of their revenue and possibly more of their EPS (due to higher margin within this vertical) that the stock price is fairly priced and that any future potential increases in stock prices will potentially require new product lines, ... As you stated, their vision is not clear. And until then, is it fair to assume that their stock price, from a P/E perspective, is lower than other Mag7 companies due to this caveat. Having said all of this, investors make (or lose) money when times are unclear and stock prices are deflated. What are your thoughts re the future of this company and what drives your investment thesis? Thanks.
Q: What is your rationale for picking this stock as small cap pick? The interest on the offering is high (and the eventual share dilution.) doesn’t worry you?
Is it because this actually improves cost of debt structure?
