Q: On Oct. 1 Kracken announced a bought deal of $25 M at $1.6 after the market close, the stock closed at $1.78 Oct. 1. On the morning prior to open they announced an upsize of the deal by $20M, the stock closed up at $1.80 on Oct 2 with very large volume and has maintained that the last couple of days. When you see this type of event what thoughts do you get about it and the stock.

Q: I’m in the process of clearing out my portfolio and have 1,000 shares of Kraken Robotics that I’ve held for a few years. These shares have appreciated by 200%. What do you think about the future prospects of this small-cap company? While the total value isn’t huge, it’s been nice to see the growth. Should I continue holding onto these shares? I’d appreciate your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

Q: Hi,
Enjoyed Chris and Zach's podcast. How come they chose PNG/TSU as their small caps and not some of your usual favourites like PRL or PAY . Also I am somewhat surprised that whilst PNG/TSU do get "airtime" in your Q&As, they don't make it in your small caps short list. You must have some rationale. Somewhat puzzled, that's all.

Q: Hello Team,

Looking at starting a new position in a few of the 12 companies tagged. Can you rank from 1 to 12 on which companies you think is the best to start a new position in. No worries on size, industry or risk, looking for capital appreciation only over the next 3 years.

Thanks again!

Q: Kraken robotics uses Sophic Capital, which describes itself as a full-service capital markets advisory and investor relations firm for public and private growth companies.

Is it fair to think of them as a "promoter"? Usually I associate companies using a promoter as being scammy pump and dumps.

What is your take on Sophic and it's track record? Is it a legit expense for Kraken to spend on their services, or are they paying them to promote the stock and generate liquidity rather than using those funds to grow the business?

Do you like the stock now that it's trading around the $0.95 bought deal price, or is this creating an overhang and being propped up by a promoter?

Q: Hello, can you please share your top 5 candidates for potential multi bagger returns within the speculative part of my portfolio? I'm fine with taking on the associated risk and would likely hold within a TFSA as a smaller speculative portion of my portfolio.

Q: This is quite a small cap company that you have commented on a number of times, mostly favourably. Stock price has basically doubled since November, I bought some in February. I am just wondering, since you have some familiarity with the company, whether you can explain the reason for the recent price surge . Does your information suggest that adding to a small position may not be a bad, though granted risky, idea. Ie. what is going on here to suddenly drive this stock higher?
Thanks
Neil

Q: I'm evaluating these 4 microcaps, I'd like to add to add a small position in the one that has the most potential for returns. Ignoring the risk of these being very small market caps. Can you rank these in order that you would buy if you were looking for a microcap with big potential? Or if you would avoid any of them all together you can say so. Thx
