Q: Hi Peter and team:
Thank you for the advice you have offered all these time, giving us readers a sense of direction.
I'm a retiree and looking for a balance of income and growth, and currently holding the above in the financial sector and need to trim down as per the Portfolio tracking service suggest. Could u rank your preference from the Income and growth , from Most Prefer (5) to the least (1). Feel free to add names not in the list above.
Deduct as many points as you see fit. Thank you as always
Thank you
Q: Hello 5i Team,
I am looking at adding another dividend name to my RRSP portfolio. I already own ENB, TRP, and PPL in the energy infrastructure space, and am thinking of starting a position in Williams Companies. It has a lower yield than the other three at present, but how does it compare in terms of valuation (P/E, debt ratios, etc.) Is it a "safer" investment than the other three? Given that it's nearly impossible to build a new pipeline in Canada anymore, does it have a better future?
Much appreciated,
Brian
Q: What is your opinion of American Tower and their ability manage their high debt levels. Is it a buy considering the recent drop in price. Also can you explain why on Aug. 14 you state AMT's PE is 19 x when answering a question and on your profile section it is listed at 90 x. Thanks for your help.
Q: RRSP US dollar : any recommendations please for a US ETF equivalent to a cash saving account + optimal interest (accepted by RBC ) ,since in canadian accounts RBC and TD do not trade CASH,PSA ETFs,but accept trading HSAV and MNY .
Q: Hi Everyone!!
I am thinking of investing in Lockheed Martin and Genuine Parts in my US $ account for growth and income . I would value your thoughts on these stocks and purchasing them now at this cost level .
Q: Looking to top up underweight positions in ADBE, INMD, META, SMCI held as part of a US$ account geared to growth. Could you please rank your preference for adding to the above at this time (10 being a very strong add at current prices) In other comments are welcome. Many thanks
Q: Like your opinion on NPI - realize that most alternative power companies are down & high interest rates affect them. Am a long term holder of NPI. What is your view for the next 1-3years - should I sell & look for a lower entry point or hold on?
Also, what are your forecasts for the Big 5 Cdn. Banks?
Q: hi,
do you know how the US indices have performed if the "magnificent seven" and excluded? ie how is the rest of American business doing? further do you think we are in "bubble" territory currently?
cheers, chris
1) Is the TRMLF (US) stock listed exactly the same as TOUR. CDN? I'm interested in your recommendations for a US nat gas stock?
2) If mortgage rates are going up, why aren't banks like RY and TD doing well?
Q: As a follow up question to August 18, when you say the market is treating TOI and LMN as a current day CSU, is this a good or bad thing wrt to growth prospects? Does this mean there is less runway for growth, for TOI and LMN, then CSU had in the early days?
Thanks
Jeff
