Q: Good morning Peter, Ryan, and Team,

In our combined accounts, we are overweight in the Consumer Cyclical sector, and hold ATD, BYD, CCL.B, and MG. These stocks have been held for some time, so we have reasonable profits in all four.

In order to raise cash for our under-represented energy sector, please rank the four Consumer Cyclical stocks in order of the first to sell or reduce.

Our Energy holdings include ENB, TOU, and TVE. Please suggest three or four stocks in this sector that would be complimentary to the three already held.

Please deduct as many credits as necessary for this somewhat long question, and as always, thanks for your valuable insight.

Q: Hi,
I am seeing what appears to be a surge in copper and wondering if this might be an opportunity to invest in either an ETF or individual stock. Given the current market, which would you prefer? Risk tolerance is fairly high, but I have little diversification in the materials sector other than GDX and SLX. Most of my available cash is in US dollars, within tax sheltered accounts. Q: Hi,

The last time you were asked for your thoughts about BB was a few months ago when it was trading for a shade over $12, and you rated it as one of your least attractive.

Have your thoughts changed after it has shed further 30% of its price?

I sold a small holding at ~$27.00 in Jan21 (after getting in at ~$13 in '18) during its meme-stock craze. I think it's susceptible to another such a run-up, given its legitimately-sexy reputation/past performance.

Question: Does BB's current price justify re-initiating a I-don't-care-if-it-goes-to-zero position of 3% of my otherwise-conservative portfolio (50% defensive, 30% cash, 20% fixed income)?

Q: Like a previous subscriber wrote, we also appreciate your most recent report: specifically, the numeric historical context of this current correction, the sectors affected and those most likely to benefit.
We are invested in each of the three of the 5i portfolios and over the next 1-2 months plan to make staggered and targeted contributions.
Could you suggest 3 or 4 companies from each portfolio where the winds of sentiment are excessively negative and would be attractive to purchase with this approach?
This is for a 5+ years hold.

I am cleaning up the portfolio and have decided to sell one of these stocks. Which of these 2 financial institutions, in your opinion would be a better keep in terms of security and upside. I know these are outside of your scope but I do appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

Q: What would be your general thoughts oil and gas stocks right now. They have obviously had a fantastic run and are very overbought on most technical charts. With any positive news out of Ukraine, would you expect a sharp pullback in oil prices and energy shares? I guess what I'm asking is would it be prudent to take some money off the table?

Q: If Ukraine and Russia reach a ceasefire say in the next ten days, how will the stocks in energy, gold, agriculture and financial sectors react to this new reality.?
