Q: Hi. My son recently put 15K into a TSFA and he intends to put 10K/year into it until it is fully funded. Can you suggest, say, 8 equities/etf's (US and or Canadian) that he should buy to start his investing career? Thx. JR

Q: Hi there,

The majority of my portfolio is held in XEQT. If I wanted to increase US exposure from 45% to 60%, in your opinion would to be best to layer in a hedged or unhedged US etf, considering XEQT already holds unhedged US exposure?

Q: "TC Energy intends that the initial combined dividends of the two companies will be equivalent to TC Energy’s annual dividend immediately prior to the completion of the Transaction, and that over time the combined value of the two companies’ dividends is expected to remain consistent. Dividends will be at the discretion of the respective boards of directors of each company following the Transaction."
Does that mean they will split the dividend? e.g. old dividend 8%. New dividend 4% each company?

Q: I would like to increase my exposure to US large cap healthcare, currently own PFE and ISRG. Can you recommend another company that would be complementary to these holdings or would you simply add to the existing positions? Also own some smaller names in this sector e.g. WELL but am interested in increasing the large cap exposure. Thank you.

Q: I received these preferred shares with the Brookfield change over. I don’t have much of an understanding of preferred’s and would like you to educate me. There's a rating system out on preferred shares so how does this one rank? I understand they are good for income and I currently get $1.5625 US per share, does this dividend ever go up or down? I’m also down over 30% since I received them, will they recover one day and how long will that take(I thought preferred shares were a safer investment vehicle)? Is there a life span on this or can I hold forever? How do interest rates affect preferred shares? I assume when interest rates go up the then I can expect the principle amount goes down as it did in this case🤔 Thank you

Q: On or about July 22 Inmode and ISRG had quite a tumble. I added to ISRG and bought Inmode. They are not participating with this rally. They are still at the lows on the date recently mentioned. You know more about these 2 stocks than I do. Is there any reason no one seems to be interested in them? Thank you again,
