Q: Good Morning Peter,

We have seen Derick Warren on BNN a few times and he has recommended Callaway Reit. We have read your report on H & R and would like to know if Callaway is comparable to H & R.

Q: I have been watching Sylogist for quite some time and thought this might be a good entry point. However looking at the chart, it went up for three years straight and then straight down from about 12 to 7 dollars. It has recovered a bit but not much. What is the reason for the rapid drop and would this be a good entry point. Where do you see it a year from now. What other small cap stocks would you recommend in the tech space?

Q: On June 1st, you mentioned that Sienna this may be a takeover target. Would you think that would be from Extendicare or Chartwell? Would there be other players besides these two, each with their recent influx of cash?
If it was taken over, can you "guess" at what the price, or price-range, might be?

Q: Good Morning Team,

BMO offers ZUB and ZBK. Both are equally weighted US bank ETFs. Both are sold in Canadian dollars. ZUB is hedged while ZBK is not. If they are both sold in CDN dollars could you please explain how one is considered hedged while the other is not? What are the tax implications for holding these in a TFSA?

Q: Hello to everyone at 5i

To my way of thinking, the supply and demand fundamentals for seafood merits an investment. Do you like these companies right now? If so, would you have a preference of one over the other or would money invested in each company provide better coverage of the industry and reduce company specific risk?

This investment would represent a small allocation in my TFSA.

Q: Hello Peter and 5I team,
Thank you for your advice in the past. We have just topped up our TFSA and with the cash we already had on balance are ready to purchase some stocks. We are already diversified in our other accounts with large caps and fixed income. We are looking for fairly valued dividend growers and or first time dividend payers.

Q: Have I missed something with this stock? It has been dropping quite a bit. I do not have a position, but am thinking of buying. Also, how are its dividends (distributions) treated by the CRA. Are they considered Canadian, and are they given favourable tax treatment, or is it a U.S. MLP? I have had not had success trying to recover any of the 39.6% holdback with another US MLP.

Q: Ref. the question asked by Murray earlier today. If he is concerned about liquidity on the TSX, I'm sure he could ask his broker to transfer those shares to the US side of his portfolio and avoid selling and buying fees.
I managed to do this when I had similar concerns and RBC did it at no cost.
