Q: Today, Monday, May 27, 2024 the approx. price for TOU is $67.21 CAD.
In your opinion is it currently trading at fair value, expensive, cheap?
What would be your estimate of a fair value price and what valuation metric are you using to determine this?
Q: I I am embarrassed to ask this question: I notice the share price fluctuates between $50.00 and $50.24. Is that just a function of the monthly payment? In other words does one need to time purchases? I am sitting on a ton of cash and want to earn some interest (right now sitting in cash in my rrsp earning nothing).
Q: Hi 5i
Regarding your answer to earlier question regarding Nuvei trading below the deal price........if you were holding would its continued dropping cause you any concern?
Would you increase holdings?
Q: Everyone, does investment strategy change with the size of your account? Does it matter if you have $10,000 or $1,000,000 or $10,000,000 or $100,000,000 etc. Clayton
Q: What is your current opinion of BCAT? It has been around for approximately 2.5 years since the last question you’ve had and seems to be growing well despite its incongruously large upcoming dividend.
Thanks,
David
Q: I have some cash in my RRSP to invest for a long-term hold. My primary goal for these funds is to add income from a higher dividend-paying, large and stable company. I’d also like some upside on capital appreciation although not the primary focus. I’m looking at these companies and I’m open to other suggestions.
Could you please rank these by the potential to increase the dividend over time?
Could you separately rank by potential capital appreciation?
Debating which utilities are still good value, now that there has been a bit of a bounce over the past few months.
I'm considering cpx vs npi, but happy to hear if you think other names have more in the tank as these two seemed to have recovered in lock step.
Q: I am finalizing RRIF portfolio focusing on safety and yield. I am trying to decide between Canoe Income fund and SLF. Performance-wise they look similar to me but with EIT having a higher yield. I would value your advice on selecting one of these unless you have an even better suggestion then that would be welcome as well. Thanks for all you do! Dan
Q: Greetings, 5i staff.
I am interested in quality ETFs that focus generally on emerging markets without too much weighting on China. Also, may I have two or three ETFs that have considerable focus on India and/or Indonesia?
With appreciation,
Ed
My portfolio is well established with many blue chips and large cap tech companies. However, I keep a small seperate portfolio for interesting "moonshots" and I recently I took a small intial position in OKLO, small nuclear reactors, for a 5-10 year hold.
What are 5is houghts on OKLO?
What is Sam Altmans involvement?
additionally..
SEC FILING for OKLO STATES ".... Peter Thiel are the members of the investment committee established by Mithril II GP".
Q: Which of these three gold stocks would you go with, one of the 2 juniors (DNG or BTO) with the higher divys and potential capital growth or the larger more established AEM for its size and stability, or a blend of both?
Gold seems to be on an up trajectory so stocks should follow bullion!!
