Q: Both of these stocks show up as Canadian Currency on my stock screener but when i bought FIH it was purchased in American Dollars. How can FIH trade on the tsx yet be traded in American Dollars (Never had this happen before; is there more us currency tsx stocks like this that i need to be made aware of?).

Does FAH-U trade in American Currency as well? Also do you know the holdings of FAH-U?

Q: Increase in interest rate due to strong economic growth(latest GDP 4.50%) is normally beneficial to financials( esp.Banks & lifcos)Yet TTFS(capped financial index)is down 0.68%,BNS 0.76% & SLF 1.13%.Please help me to understand.Thanks for u great services & views

Q: I currently hold a significant amount of U.S. cash in my US dollar RSP. With the latest
surge in the Canadian dollar vs the US dollar can you recommend any strategy that can
offset further decreases in the value of my holdings in Canadian dollar terms in the short or medium term? I am 71 this year and I will have to convert to a RIF by the end of this year. Given the current geopolitical environment and extreme weather in the southern US the likelihood of any US dollar appreciation or strength appears dim in the near term. Would holding gold or gold producers help to hedge my US position?

Q: Hi team, what is an income investor to do in a rising rate environment? What are the sectors and equities that will be most impacted and what are the best sectors to invest in? Do you have any specific stock recommendations for income? I currently have many of the canadian banks, utilities and telcoms which have all taken a hit.

Q: I have a half position in both A&W and BPF. Have had long term holding on both. Thinking of selling BPF and taking full position in A&W. Or replacing the BPF with HR.UN. Your thoughts

Q: My wife and I are retired with pension income sufficient to cover monthly expenses. We are looking for some income and a bit of growth from our investments. Wondering if an investment in XIN AND XTR would help us reach our goal? Is a return of capital involved with either ETF? Also, could you suggest other ETF's that would help us to build a solid, well-divesified retirement portfolio of ETF's. Thanks so much for you guidance.
