Q: Hello,
I am currently holding capital one at $86 per share and enjoying the recent surge as of late. That said, I am thinking about selling the position, keeping the principal, and using the proceeds to buy March 19 puts at $100 for downside protection in case of a market pullback.
What do you think about this strategy? Thanks in advance,
Q: Both have moved up well recently. Do you have a preference for one over the other. Please comment specifically on LNR, on it's auto related and other divisions.
Q: I looked up your report on this company and it is from 2016! Will you be doing an update? Would you still give it a C rating or has the rating change?
Thanks
Q: Do you still like these 2 for the long term?
Ignoring sector allocation and company size, would you add to KXS, PHO or both and briefly why? Looking for the best risk / reward scenario. I currently have half position in each. 5 year + investment. Thank you.
Q: I asked similar question awhile back, but I'm baffled by Loblaws???
The only stores I see crowds at are Loblaws (Superstore), Costco, & Walmart. Is there something going on behind the scenes with Loblaws? Why does a staple remain low during a crisis?
Thanks, Paul
Q: These two stocks in my portfolio have very high P/E ratios. Could you comment why and it’s implications? They impact greatly on the average P/E ratio of my equity portfolio.
Q: I am a holder Neo Performance and it has moved very well recently. The CEO bought in a little while ago in front of this move. What is the cause of this? Do you see it continuing?
Thanks, Doug
You had recommended this as a 2021 theme on the weekend - was wondering if you would be using some of your cash in the Growth Portfolio this week. Huge runs lately especially on January 14th- still a buy or has it gotten away on itself ?
Q: I find this strange that ATD is down since the offer was annouced and Carrefour has not increased to the offer price. It seems that even the Carrefour shareholders don't think it will go through, so why such a drop in ATD? I don't think this entire deal will go through, the government of France will not allow the sale of the grocery side, but it's possible that Carrefour will be able to sell of their convenience stores, which is what ATD normally wants. What do you think about this option?
In one of the questions you have mentioned that BAM stock has risen 10 fold in the past 11 years......but when i google the stock price, it has gone up about 3 times ( it was about 13$ in jan 2011 and now it is 39)
Q: After a nice initial run from the March lows, Netflix has been in a trading range since last July and is at the lower end near $500. Do you like the company enough to feel this is a decent entry point for an investor to start legging in or is Freddy Krueger lurking? Thanks

Q: Hi 5i
Today Blackberry has had quite a surprising run up over 22%.
Can you supply any insight into what has happened to drive this. Would you continue to hold this stock or add based on any new information for 2 yr hold.
Thx
Jim
Q: In one of my previous questions about Leon's, I referenced the company's profile page where it shows, like it has for months, that there is one analyst covering LNF. In your answer, you indicated there were, in fact, two analysts covering LNF.
Q1 = I have waited quite a while for the 5iR company profile page to be updated by your data provider to reflect the above # analysts (two). Is there a way to reach out to your data provider and request him to update this? Or...is it that the "missing analyst" is from a firm that they do not consider significant enough?
Q2 = While we are on the topic, how many analysts does 5iR currently have in their system that cover LNF now and what is there current target?
Q3 = What is YOUR internal target for Leon's one year out? How much upside to you see?
Q: Hi Peter & Team
I am considering buying either AMD, NTC Intel or TSC Taiwan Semiconductor.
Please explain which one you would choose and way.
I value your expertise.
