Q: Hello
the Ontario Ministry of energy indicated that Ontario will start to build a road up North to develop the Critical minerals in the Ring of Fire in N Ontario; obviously , companies like Stn , Wsp could benefit from the construction, in terms of critical minerals, can you give me some names of some companies that could benefit? or some other industrial stocks that will benefit, thanks

Q: Can you explain why the precious metals and those stocks are being hit so hard. I would have thought that the war would be causing a flight-to-safety which would have resulted in the opposite. How much more negativity can we expect?

Q: Trying to understand PNG acquisition and your comment about expected price pullback by 75 cents. I believe there is mention in offer of new shares being issued at 8.50 and I assume the 75 is the different from where it was trading around 9.25 and the 8.50 figure. Can you explain this? Are these shares part of the offer? Why would the price now back off? Your explanation that the deal looks good and should generate more interest all makes good sense. I agree that things look even better now for PNG.

Q: hello, wonder what you suggest for global diversification, currently my portfolio is about half Canadian (XIU, FCCM) and a third international (EWY,ILF,VEU, VA.TO, VIU.TO)
I had 15% in ZSP last year but was disappointed with the performance and FX hit.
I only have CAD$ left to invest would you suggest putting that into US funds in spite of the sluggish performance in the last year?
If so which fund would you suggest, ZSP, VFV, or perhaps an equal weight fund such as EQL.TO

Q: In quarters in which HPS.A does particularly well, executive compensation tends to sink the shares. Earnings are due on March 18. Is this one of the quarters likely to produce significant executive compensation or will comparison to the previous quarter dampen the exec comp and help the shares?
