Q: I currently own BEP.un as the only stock for Utilities and would like to buy either H or FTS to add to this sector. Which one would be the better choice with BEP.UN ?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Hello!
The last question on RPC Inc. was back on March 1 when it was trading at $6.45. Since then it has traded largely between $5 and $6 and is at $5.05 this morning.
Any change in your assessment of RPC Inc. since then? Oil (crude futures) has appreciated ~20% during the same period, for what that's worth.
Thanks as always,
Marc.

Q: I am drastically under invested in utilities. I presently hold the following - each is under a 1% weighting - AQN, ACO, BIPC, BEPC, BEP.UN, CU, and Fortis. Which would you sell? Which would you add to? All are in corporate non reg acct. Also want to increase my US and International exposure. Is there a reason not to do it in this sector?
Would appreciate US and International companies you favour. 5 year hold.
Thank you.

Q: I have stayed away from energy, except for ENB and TC, which are pipelines.
Do you think there is more upside in the O & G stocks. If so what would you suggest?
Also the same goes for basic materials. I am not interested in gold. What would be your picks for basic materials.
Thanks for your service, I would be lost without it.

Q: Do you agree this should be north of 25 dollars right now and institutional investing is hyper sensitive to the protests and won't touch it. They're waiting for guidance by the company before they make a move.
Cheers Steve

Q: Back in 2018 (seems so long ago) you described AOI as “It is setting up to be an interesting value proposition.”
Does this statement still hold true and are there other micro-oil & gas companies out there that might be worth a look? Thanks!

Q: Thanks for the wonderful work from the team. I am holding BRLXF since past 2 years. Have a good 100% gain. However in past 6 months its down significant from about $40 to $30. Do you still see a good growth potential for the stock or would you recommend something else in this sector. Holding period is long 5+ and comfortable with risk and volatility.
Also any recommendation on any ETF or something else where one can park cash component of the Portfolio. I hold about 10% of portfolio in cash to be deployed at times when market is over sold .

Q: With so many analysts being quite bullish on the price of oil in the coming months I was wondering if you could give me a few Canadian O&G company names, besides CNQ and SU, that are more oily than gassy? Thank you.
Q: Why are these renewable energy companies down so much from a year ago? Up 54% & 133% respectively incl. dividends. Are they keepers for long-term in RRSP?
Q: Given the near-term performance of the Utilities sector, it seems these are beginning to underperform the general market. Is the performance related to heightened concerns of pending rate hikes? If so, would it be appropriate to take a wait/see approach and to DCA in the sector over the next little while? Thank you.
Q: Current owner of NPP314 in my TFSA. I've been waiting for the assets under NNRG to get to a reasonable level prior to making the switch. The last time I looked, NPP314 had roughly $400M and NNRG had $1M. Last night I see NPP314 has $385M and NNRG has over $400M.
Does this match your search engine data? That's quite a jump....to go from roughly $400M combined to $800M combined! Would you agree that it now makes sense to make the switch to NNRG, now that it has a critical mass, along with cheaper fees?
Thanks for your help....Steve

Q: A recent article suggests that oil may hit $100/barrel sometime in 2022.
In your estimate, what impact would that have on SGY's share price?
Thanks!

Q: Do you think Surge Energy's latest acquisition, improved credit situation and increased production is positive for the share price? How many shares does Paul Colborne the President, own? He bought a ton at higher prices but hasn't lately at a lower valuation.
Finally, how much of a headwind are their hedges? I thought this stock would rocket at today's oil prices while acknowledging it's rise from 15 cents?
Thanks.
