3 - CU - YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS DIVIDEND KING.

Q: Hold all three of the above in my TFSA. Two years to retirement. Will need good income at that point. Your thoughts please - buy, sell, hold?
Q: Hi, I have owned ONEX for about a year and down 18%. I would like to own a private equity co. ONEX's purchase of Westjet was bad timing and the airlines will continue to struggle going forward for some time I think. In a recent question about ONEX, you said ONEX has lost money and revenues have not changed for the last 8 years, so just curious, what drove its stock up from $35 to $100 between 2013-2018?? Would you continue to hold? I'm thinking of selling ONEX and switching into KKR or BX?? Or possibly buy more BAM? In this low rate environment, PE should benefit right? Looking for long term growth in my LIRA. Thanks!
Q: I know "the past is not the future" but Onex has been in a horrible technical pattern for the last three years, long before COVID and WestJet. Any idea why? Would you add at this low price? Any chance of a report on this company? Thanks Ron

Q: HI Guys,
Have these stocks bottomed here &
Would you buy these 5 names right now and in what order would you put them in 1-best & 5-worst
AGF,CIS,ONEX,BMO,CWB
What financials would you be buying if you don’t like those?
Thanks again!
Nick

Q: Private Equity is an area of investment that has been getting a lot more attention recently. Which listed asset managers specializing in Private Equity are worth looking at? Would the multiple-recent-name-change firm SuRo Cap Corp. be worth inclusion in this group?
Q: Would appreciate your thoughts regarding ONEX.
Q: ONEX has been a $100 stock within the last 5 years; what will it take to get it back in that neighbourhood?
Interesting that they're deploying capital now with the acquisition of ICS but I think it's fairly small in their portfolio, maybe Westjet sized under 5%?
Also is there a succession plan for Gerry Schwartz? Nigel Wright seems to be still very much in the picture.

Q: Hi 5i! Hope all of you and your families are well and safe.
Myself, being in a enthousiastic investment shopping mode, I'm looking for a BRK.B type of investment in canada. Which do you prefer between FFH, BAM.A, ONEX and why?
Any other suggestions?
Many thanks!

Q: Loved your special updates. Please provide your insights as often as possible. Very helpful!
Bought some stocks last week and planning to continue slowly this week. It looks like it s going to be down tomorrow after the Fed announcement...
My wishlist is ready. Fairfax vs Onex, which one do you prefer for long term hold (if you like) or a bit of both. Can you briefly comment on main risks for Onex.
Thank you!

Q: Need to add to the financial sector. Prefer an alternative to banks and insurance because of dealing interest rates. I already have BAM.A
Ideas?

Q: Hi, how would you classify ONEX and what sector would you allocate it to? It says industrial on the TMX site, does that make sense or is it more financial? Or would you classify your holdings in PE stocks such as ONEX and KKR as a totally separate sector such as Alternative or Private Equity?? Thanks!
Q: Greetings,
Can you please provide your top 3 value investments - where you think the market is currently 'mispricing' the company who, in addition, have future growth ahead of them. (skip the oil and gas companies).
Thanks

Q: Consider selling CWB:CA and use the funds to add to my position in ONEX:CA. This would bring ONEX:CA to 3% of my portfolios. I already hold 4% in BAM.A:CA.
Thank you for your input.

Q: Hi,
I've owned ONEX in the past but currently don't have any exposure to private equity and I'm looking to get back into this space. Should an average long term growth investor have some exposure to this asset class? Looking to make PE 3-5% of my total portfolio. Can you rank the mentioned stocks from best to worst and which ones are best for long term growth and capital appreciation. Any other suggestions or advice would be welcome. Thanks!

Q: Hi 5i
I wish to add these 3 to my TFSA or non registered account. Which would be better in a TFSA or does it not matter? In which order would you buy at this time?
Thanks for all you do
Gary
