Q: Could I have your take on the latest quarterly report on these 2 companies. TPK looks to have some ok growth with decent opportunities ahead with a new plant in the future and the closing down of a couple of competing facilities. It also pays a decent div while you wait. Would you consider a 2% (overall) position an ok part of a basket of small caps . I hold AX.un as an income stock along with quite a few stocks in your income portfolio. This Q looked like a bit of a miss, is it still worth holding in your opinion?

Q: Seasonality in Quarterly Earnings
I noticed some stocks have a large difference in earnings forecast due to seasonality. For example, BRP has larger earnings forecast for Q3 and Q4. Shouldn't the strategy be to buy prior to those quarters and sell out before others?

Q: I recently added a few "commodity" stocks and they've recently had very strong runs...Would you be inclined to hold them or take some profits? None of them represent an oversized portion of my portfolio. I'm just thinking after such sizeable gains in a short term...they must be due for a pullback. Q: I’m looking for some torque in oil and gas in light of 70 dollar wti and the recent tightening in the WCS differential. Everyone seems to be talking about the impact of Iran but quietly in the background Venezuelan heavy oil production has been severely limited by recent legal issues. Q: Hi, can you help me understand why TSGI price has actually risen since the announcement it will buy Sky Bet for $4.6 billion cash & stock? TSGI D/E is about 1, with debt already at $2 billion. Any idea of what value and debt Sky Bet has?

Q: if the purchase goes through what will the companies new debt to equity ratio be? will the forecast cash flows of the new company be enough in your opinion to service comfortably the total debt of 6.9 billion. thanks Peter
