Investment Q&A

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: Over the past 2 months or so SHOP, TTD and MDB are down substantially. All have had earnings events and that did not have a positive impact on share price

I know at this point the horses have left the barn, but as portfolio managers what do you recommend we do with these lagging names and why?

Thank you

Sheldon

Q: We have been warned that this could happen. Still, I am sure that many of us are concerned on the “three black crows “ and the “triple breakdown” that we are seeing . CSU has plummeted $100.00 / sh this week .

Even for those of us that trim , this has been a big hit. Based on your experience , should we expect the price to continue its descent , or should we be expecting some re-tracement at this point.
THANKS

Q: This question my be too "personal", so if you choose not to answer I would understand. I find your responses to questions to be quite expedient, especially around earnings season, and exceptionally informative. I'm wondering how large your staff is?

Q: With the fall of DR, particularly for income investors, the question is what to do. Michael posed this earlier. What would you advise? You had responded that there is better places to put capital, but such a decline has eroded that capital and reinvesting the reduced amount does not produce much.
How would you advise an investor at this point? Sell, and crystalize the loss and reinvest what little remains? Hold on and wait for a bounce? Settle in for a long wait?
Ideally, investors would have sold before now. I do not see any such advice within your answers, DR was always described as a solid hold and waiting out several quarters was recently recommended.
