Q: Hello and appreciate all your insight. I have raised a fair amount of cash in my portfolio and was wondering what would be a safe way to invest it but still have immediate access to it if needed. I would like to have access to it for opportunities that arise but at the same time would like to earn something on it with very minimal risk in the current environment. Thoughts?
Q: Is the USCF Summerhaven Dynamic Commodity Strategy worth a small portion of my portfolio or should I be looking at other Commodity-oriented funds like DBA or WEAT. I am a retired income-oriented investor with somewhat of a need for more diversification.
Best regards,
David
Q: You've been asked for your preferred 5 equities wrt specific equities mentioned. What are your 5 preferred buys at today's prices, in order, wrt to your Balanced Equity Portfolio and ditto for your Growth P.

Q: With all the trouble around oil supply (again, sigh) would it be smart to put more reliance on renewables? Do you think now would be a good time to invest in renewable energy? What would be a couple of the best ways to do this?
I saw GEVO recommended as a very risky pick elsewhere today (that may get some institutional attention if it manages to get to $5 apparently). May I have your updated assessment of it please? What is the bull / bear case?
Q: A note to JR re. GSY and PRL,
Thank you for the comment. I commented about the ethics of GSY last week and I regretted it afterward. It was one of those notes that is better to reflect upon that send. Your points are good and valid.

Q: Exchange Income Corp (EIF) should be added to the list of beneficiaries of Northern Infrastructure ... Flying crews and northern residents in and out of forest fires and floods has been a good business. In a more positive future , filling seats with contractors ,engineers , and more longterm residents will certainly increase benefit share value .
Based on the answers and comments you make about NBIS I can deduce that you like NBIS yet confused about price action. That makes at least two of us.
Are you able to share your thinking process of what might be happening with this instrument. Is it simply favored by the speculative bunch?
I closed my position yesterday, but I find it hard to resist to re-enter today.
Q: NTR: bought Dec. 25 in my wife's RRIF - up 86% - 1000 shs. I see you still recommend - why? a small position in her portfolio.
NTR is subject to so many uncontrollable variables?
$140/share in 2022.
I want to get out before this stock crashes again - LOL
Q: Hi, given recent action, including a nice jump by Nebius, but keeping in mind possible cyclicity, can you please rank these five stocks as possible best buys today, indicate whether they are buy, hold or sell, and give a small blurb why they are worth buying today. 3-4 year holding. Thank you
