Q: These 4 securities represent my industrials holdings. I wish to add to this sector and would appreciate if you can suggest another company that would be a great complement to this group. Alternatively, would you suggest simply adding to the existing holdings and if yes, in what order would you add? Thank you.

Q: When the initial shock at SVB happened, I traded First Republic shares and made enough profits to buy a long position when the shares went into the 12's. I don't believe that the US Govt. will allow these "small" banks to fail. Ex: FRC has over 7000 employees.
Are there any other US "small" banks that you screen that have been hammered but have a good prospect of surviving and flourishing? I have a very high risk tolerance.

Q: Hi 5i
In your April 19, 2022 answer regarding Genm you said that “if all approvals are given the stock should get re-rated higher once (when/if) this risk is removed “.
1) Has the risk been removed?
2) What do you think of todays’ share price and can you see it going higher?
3) Do you have any other current info on Genm?

Q: Hi everyone at 5i!
I am up 370% with my stock in NVDA and would like to trim a third of the stock. With the proceeds I would like to add to a portfolio holding AWK, BRKB, BX,COST,EMR, ISRG RSP. QQQ. JPM MDT MSFT, NVDA , PEP, PG, O , VZ, V, WM . I am looking for two or three stock suggestions that would round out this list for growth or growth and income.

Q: Released earnings Friday, market initially reacted positively, but it still closed down a little. Volume was pretty high also. I own it for income and have owned for a considerable period as I like the nature of the business. Despite this, given the recent results…..is it time to put this one out to pasture?

We still have 500 shares of GSY in our RRSP accounts

Thinking of selling and buying BAC. Both are beaten up. However I am thinking BAC
has a better chance of recovering in a shorter time frame with less government interference.

Your comments or other suggestions in the US are most welcome.

Q: I recently flew Air Canada from Toronto to NYC and Fort Lauderdale Florida and on both flights the planes were operating at pretty high capacity. The plane tickets were crazy expensive. Westjet has really contracted the places it flies and their frequency and AC seems to have practical monopoly on certain routes. I know that does not replace fundamental analysis but it means something.

TOI (Size 0.39%, small profit)
MG (Size 0.41%, small loss)
GSY Size 0.54%, substantial loss)

This is in a well-diversified portfolio.
