Q: Have owned CIX for some time and its way below the purchase price. Thinking of switching to FSZ. Is this a move you would recommend or is there still potential for growth in CIX. Which stock would be the safest in a downturn market.

Q: I have a position in Stantec, held it for many years and it is slightly underwater. I am considering selling it and moving on. My question is does the recent pop in the stock price mean there is likely to be positive momentum such that I should hold for a period of time, or just do a strategic thing, and sell it now?.......Tom

Q: When does FIH.U report ? And if I'm not mistaken the last quarter loss was largely due to the completion of the Bangalore airport purchase. Will there be further repercussions in this quarter from the purchase or are they back on track to earnings from the various entities they own ? Also US policy is hammering third world currencies. Does 5I see further erosion in the value of the Indian rupee in the near future ?

Q: I own HEXO in the weed space. I see this stock and other majors have been falling since legalization. What do you think accounts for this? I'm speculating that a lot of people enjoyed the run up but set the legalization date as their exit point because a lot of companies' stock price will go downhill once they start reporting earnings. I'm thinking about selling to crystalize my 15% gain which was a 40% gain a few weeks ago. Thoughts? Comments?

Q: Given the current state of the Canadian market, I have filled both registered accounts with US/international equities. Provided a US/international equity doesn't pay a dividend, are there any negative tax consequences from holding these shares in a non-registered account? Thank you.

Q: Hi, This sentence confuses me: ... {that it has granted options to purchase 250,000 common shares of C-COM to directors and officers of C-COM. The stock options were granted pursuant to the terms of C-COM's stock option plan and are exercisable at $1.16 per share.} It's the (of C-Com to directors) that confuses me. (?)Granted options=Co. will buy 250,000 shares (from/off the market?) for the directors. Thus less shares on the market.) or (for?) the directors.(Meaning the Directors get more shares at $1.16.) Bottom Line are 250,000 more shares coming onto the market once the price hits $1.16? Thanks in advance for some clarity.

Q: I would like to derisk my portfolio and pull out of trading equities myself. I am near 70. What mawer products or other etf/mutual fund products can I hold in my trading account that would give a fair dividend , would have preferred tax rate on those dividends and reasonable MER.
