Q: In light of the market backdrop & the poor Q on Aug 8 resulting in a 14% haircut that day along with your comments,I humbly and painfully think it will take time for PLTR to recover.Have a 50% loss. of which 66% of shares in my investment a/c & balance in Tsfa.Thinking of selling & replaced it by better stocks like Goog,Amzn,Bam.a,Atd.Please provide u opinion & rank the above stocks starting with best.Please feel free to provide 2 or 3 stocks that u prefer. Please comment on Mgni Q2 results released today.In After Hours it was at $8.61, a drop of 6.82% Again its it timely to sell at some 53% loss in investment a/c and replace with above stocks.Please comment. Q: I purchased VZ about 6 months ago. The thesis was that it was a safe stock to hold during a market correction and it also paid a great dividend. Since then, the stock has plummeted 15% - not much of a safe place to be.
In your opinion, is VZ now a hold in an income portfolio, and is the dividend safe?

can you give me your top pick for a semiconductor stock for long term hold. and if your pick is not Intel (which I assume it will not be ), can you advise re intel as a long term investment (I like dividends ). also, can you provide advice on Camtek ltd. Q: If I was a BAM.A shareholder what would I as an investor receive after the spin off? Is it better to own shares pre spinoff or purchase after? I am not sure how this process will affect the shareholder. Please explain.

Q: Hi, do you see Stella Jones as a possible takeover target for a private equity company like BAM or KKR? Please provide a brief description for and against a takeover. Also, can you rate the probability of a takeover out of 10 whereby 10 is very likely and 0 very unlikely. Many thanks as always for this great service that you provide.

Q: I want to thank all of you at 5i for this excellent service that you provide. This question is concerning the takeover offer put up by applovin. Is this a low ball bid? Is it a possibility that another company might give it some loving and bid on it as well (bidding war)? I’m under water so I’m just contemplating when to crystallize the loss. Please deduct as many credits as required.

Q: Hello, I saw that there are seven new CDRs from CIBC: Verizon, McDonald's, Nike, Starbucks, Coca-Cola, United Health, and Cisco. Without going into the CDRs versus buying on American exchanges debate, I am curious to know if some of these stocks are worth buying today, which ones, the reason why and in what order (from most compelling to least)., presumably for a 5-year holding period. Q: There has been alot of insider activity with multiple board members putting out nice sums of their own personal savings. It really stands out compared to other companies I watch. Does this set up a strong possibility of an acquisition or possibly something else. Is it worth the risk just based on that.
