Q: Hi, What's your view on the Nuvei's Secondary Offering of 7.2 mln shares @ US$69.78. There seems to be no dilution and selling shareholders including CEO Philip Fayer, Novacap, CDPQ and others will continue to own almost 90% of their current stake ? Is it a good opportunity to Buy/Add ? Thanks
Q: in a follow up to my question on the above which i asked yesterday and you quickly responded to there was an announcement last night regarding the dividend rate for the next 5 years...my question today is the news release says "If declared "...does this mean that they may still redeem the preferreds or am I to assume the prefs will live for another 5 years....and assuming BAM is successful in taking over BPY then these shares would become a liability of BAM providing a credit rating boost...Correct ??...please deduct whatever credits are applicable and thanking you in advance for your response...Cheers
Q: What do you think of Brookfield's superior bid for IPL at 4.4% premium to Pembina bid?
Q: Hi folks.
With all this talk about higher inflation (new shiny object for the media) there has been very little discussion on the explosion of debt Countries have embarked on, pre, and since the onset of Covid. Seems like this appears to be a coordinated effort throughout the developed world, and as a result, no one seems too bothered, Including Conservatives.
Are there any lessons in history we can draw from? How does 5i think this all gets resolved over the next decade or two, assuming it will take a bit of time to generate enough growth to cover all this?
Are we headed for multiple Japans where the Gov't owns all or most Gov't issued bonds to control interest payments. Does this scenario create even more inflation with depreciation of currencies and a race to the bottom on exchange rates? Way above my pay grade so please take a stab at opining on this for us.
Many thanks.

Q: Hi 5i, I've seen a recently viral clip going around social media of a TV showing you which shoes an NBA player is wearing in real time while also giving you the option to purchase them. This seems like an incredibly powerful interface to drive consumer spending that can certainly be expanded to almost any visible entertainment platform. Is this along the same lines of Shopify? If not, I'm wondering if you know of any frontrunners in this space that would be worth taking a position.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: What are your thought about this company and its valuation, potential and risk?
Q: 5i team.
To compliment your offerings, would you consider creating three ETF versions to mimic your Income, Growth and Balanced portfolios. Any chance this is on your radar, or possibly partner with and ETF provider to achieve this?
Heres hoping!!

Q: Could you please provide your analysis of their Q1 earnings that were released yesterday. Many thanks.
Q: I own a fair amount of zpay for combination of yield and exposure to the US market. Can you explain why it has been weak while US markets have continued to rise?
Q: Opinion and future prospects please.
Q: You have received a number of recent questions concerning cyber security. I would appreciate your view of GD, which I believe has a division focused upon defense cyber security.
Q: following recent financial results, what is your opinion on the company thx

Q: Hello,
I am nearing retirement. I have CBO, CPD, VAB and XHY at 20% of my fixed income portfolio. All these ETF's exist in my unregistered account. I wanted to add XBB in my RRSP account. Any concerns about too much overlap by adding this position? This will add 7% to my fixed income position. Portfolio analytics recommends a 30% position.
Thanks for all your help.

Q: I recently asked about TAN and thanks for the reply. I understand that you think the sector still has legs. I realize (as you say) one stock will carry much more risk than an ETF but I am seriously thinking of switching from TAN to PLUG. What are your thoughts on this move and your current thoughts on PLUG? Does anything better in the sector draw your attention? Thanks as always.
After thought question: Or just say ... you can't lose with GOOG and go with that?

Q: Hi 5i Team - At some point I plan to sell my shares in Photon Control and reallocate the funds in another stock related to the semi-conductor space. I know there are a number of possibilities in the U.S. but are there any in Canada involved either in the production of semi-conductors or in the supply of materials. Any size cap is fine.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: I have a 2% holding in NGD, and it has performed decently, but I was wondering if you could share your thoughts regarding selling this position and replacing it with EQX. Would this be a lateral move, or does one have significantly more upside than the other? Thanks so much, and I look forward to reading your response.

Q: Thank you for the reply to my recent question. Unfortunately the question pertained to the 5i balanced etf portfolio not the balanced equity portfolio. May I please have to top five etf positions to add new money at this time.
Q: Hello 5i
My wife and I have been going through papers of her long deceased parents and came upon old stock certificates for Anacon Lead Mines Limited (1957). They appear to be registered in the name of a Montreal law firm. (I don't know if that complicates things further) I would like to research the stock to see if the certificates have any value or are just wallpaper. Do you have any information on this company or can you direct me to a source that might help in my research?
Many thanks
Bill K.
