Q: I would like to capture the tax loss for AMD and buy it back after 30 days. Would NVDA be a good proxy as I wait out the 30 days?

Q: With all the megacap tech names earnings being released, and seeing the pullbacks and future estimate adjustments etc. If you had to chose one of the above to invest in, which would it be and why? Thx
Q: Can you please comment on Pinterest (PINS) latest earnings released yesterday. Was there anything of particular interest to note from the call this morning (either good or bad)? Has the ARPU continue to improve? Would you recommend adding to a position that is down for its high or give it more time?

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
I see CET just made an acquisition which looks positive for both companies. I own the stock and am down about 10%. Do you think it has some upside in the next few quarters?
Thank you...as always...your insights are helpful!

iShares S&P/TSX Canadian Dividend Aristocrats Index ETF (CDZ)
-
Vanguard FTSE Canadian High Dividend Yield Index ETF (VDY)
Q: Can gou compare and contrast these 2 etfs. I've always held CDZ and paid the higher MER on the basis that research backs dividend growers performing better in the long run. However VDY seems to be performing as good or better. Considering a switch to take advantage of the lower mer and thus higher divided yield.
Q: Any updated thoughts, analysis on STLC since the last question on 21 Sept? An interesting commentary on INK Morning Insider today.
Many thanks.

Q: Your opinion of this company please
Q: Hello 5i team,
With NBLY having 284 pharmacies. A quick google search says that there are 11,356 community pharmacies across Canada which would be <3% for NBLY. I am guessing that most of these pharmacies are the bigger fish like shoppers and Rexal (correct me if I'm wrong). I was wondering how much NBLY can grow in the coming 5 years.
Roughly how much of the pharmacy pool can NBLY aquire for growth?
Andrew

Q: Peter; Can the escrowed shareholders go short against their positions 6,12 months out ? And if so do they have to report it? Thanks. Rod
Q: Peter; What is the current short position? Thanks. Rod
Q: Hi, Imperial Oil announced strong results today a nd stock popped by over 7%. Also, Chevron and Exxon reported blowout quarters. Is this indicative of solid results from CNQ and SU, ( which are 5i favorites in the sector and owned by many of us )in coming days and is it reasonable to expect a similar stock performance ? Thanks

Recon Capital NASDAQ-100 Covered Call ETF (QYLD)
-
Global X S&P 500 Covered Call ETF (XYLD)
-
JPMorgan Equity Premium Income ETF (JEPI)
Q: I have all three in my RRSP account. QYLD and XYLD weren't good performers this year and, to add to the misery, they reduced distributions lately. JEPI was performing much better and they kept their distributions virtually unchanged. When we get market recovery, do you expect JEPI to outperform QYLD and XYLD or QYLD and XYLD are likely to outperform JEPI as they dropped more this year? I am considering selling QYLD and XYLD and buying more JEPI. Thoughts?
Q: I have some shares of twitter. I see that the offer price at my brokers is 53.70? I thought the offer price was over 54$. What are my options to sell this stock now.
thanks, Jean
thanks, Jean
Q: Please comment on the 3rd q results. This company is seems quite undervalued.
