Q: Hello Team,

Currently own ECN, down 15% on this one. I have been eyeing BMO for awhile now. Comparing BMO on a one year chart it lags and dropped the most from the other big banks, down roughly 35%. However, at roughly 68$ isn't it an attractive entry point?

Can you please explain why BMO lags? And second, would switching ECN to BMO be a good move or simply stick with ecn?

Q: I own ING and has been disappointing. Was considering moving it "in kind" from my margin account to my RRSP account. was wondering if this would allow me to take a tax loss on it, or would I have to sell it outright and repurchase it in the RRSP. You have any recommendations on it?

Q: I currently own both these 2 stocks for a 4% weight and have done well so far. I was wondering if I should sell 1 % of each and then buy MFST for a 2% weight. What do you think the comfortable weight of these 2 stocks should be? What % would you hold in a portfolio if 5i had a US portfolio? Do you feel that there is a better US stock than MFST for purchase at this time for a retired person?

Q: I do not own any gold or precious metals; I feel like buying anything now would be closing the gate after the horse left the barn; your view? I would have to sell something to make funds available; most likely prospects is one of the 3 banks I hold ; those 3 represent about 8.5 % of my equity holdings. Or would I be better off to just keep the banks?

Q: Do you know of a website where one can have a comprehensive list of all aftermarket stock prices. My interest would be seeing companies with bigger post earnings price declines, for a quick trade.

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
I have held this company for a number of down years. At this point I am up about 50% which seems like a miracle. I am always reluctant to sell a winner...let them run! However I am trying to be smarter this time. Do you think it would be safer to sell this gold company now that I have a profit and buy another safer gold in the sector. I am worried that this company may have more risk factors than others. Your assessment of HMY please...does my rational have any merit? Thanks again...your opinions are always a reality check!

Q: I intend to buy DIR.UN, IIP.UN and CAR.UN. I do not need the income, I would buy them because you have recommended them in the past and I need some diversification into the real estate sector. My question is, given that their distributions can be R of C, foreign income, and other income, are they best purchased in a TFSA or RRSP, rather than in a non-registered account?

Q: Hi
I have held Emera for a few years in a TFSA (~2% of total portfolio). You seem to prefer other companies in the utilities sector. What is your preferred pick(s) for this sector and would you recommend switching out of EMA? I also have ~1.5% in ZUT. My other holding primarily consist of a split of broad market ETFs.

Q: I know you generally think Chorus Entertainment has too much debt but do you not think that this company is seriously undervalued in the market? They will generate near $200 million in FCF in 2020/21 even with the Covid-19 hit. They do have $1.65 billion in debt but they have been paying this down with the FCF ($250 million recently) and none of this debt is going to impact them in 2020/21. You factor this in and even with a "possible" dividend cut in June, this stock seems very cheap. I don't own any yet but I keep looking at it and thinking about it. Any other thoughts?
