Q: I am a dividend investor, considering high
volatility and potential NASDAQ and S&P 500 low points in 2023 ,I intend to " do an exception" in my RRSP, and to take position (for capital gain) in one ,or eventually 2 of these Cies.How would you rank all of them for a 2+ years perspective? Regards, J-Y

Any idea why united health keeps going down even though the latest results were good? Do you think Shopify is getting head of itself as it keeps ticking higher.. Is this simply due to tech stocks doing well as a sector in the last month or so.. and what do you think of starting a position in GE Health? Much appreciated. .

Q: Hi, TFI seems to have made a sharp move up recently and is now at all time highs after being range bound for the last year with a few buying dips sprinkled in. I don’t see any catalyst for this sudden move. No news recently and earnings are not out until Feb 6. I was comfortable buying in the 130’s but not so now. Is there a price range you would be comfortable with? Looking for your opinion. Many thanks.

Q: This is more of a question to understand journaling in general than about the specific situation. However, the situation provides an avenue.

At the beginning of my self-investing career, I accidentally bought ENB (US) instead of ENB.TO. It didn't seem worthwhile to change it. But I do wonder how the currency conversion works if I journal it. Do I lose on the exchange from USD to CAD? Does the share count remain the same?

I feel a bit naïve here but want to clear up this gap in my understanding.

Q: Hi, I am building a dividend portfolio as the income producing component of my overall portfolio. I have allocated sufficient percentages to the Financial and Energy sector as well as to larger stable dividend payers. I am looking to add a couple of higher yield options in other sectors. Can you please provide your top 3-5 high yield picks for me to go do further research on.
