Q: Air Canada seems to be getting more and more into the cargo shipment segment. How material is this segment of the business currently and do you see it becoming a new growth area?
Q: I am currently down 21% in BEP.un. as is my partner both of which are in our TFSA accounts. At the age of 72 and early 80's should we be selling of would you expect a fairly quick rebound?
Q: Many travel, leisure, and entertainment stocks, as well as exchange-traded funds (ETFs), have rallied from a year ago on bets of a post-pandemic recovery now that a coronavirus vaccine roll-out has begun. The new Canadian-listed Harvest Travel & Leisure ETF (TRVL-T) has increased in price by 26.3 per cent in February alone, while collecting $66-million in inflows. What investment approach (individual stocks or ETF's) would you suggest in order to play in this post-pandemic recovery? And might you have any insights on TRVL-T? Cheers.
Q: When do you think we are going to see the market sell off settle down in some of these names? Is this panic selling by retail investors or a more troubling move by smart money out of these names entirely? I'm just finding it hard to imagine that the prospects for these companies changed as dramatically as the share price in recent weeks. Take NVDA for instance. I thought it was everyone's darling a few weeks ago when I bought it over $100 higher. I'm holding but it's hard watching these things fall so dramatically each day without reprieve it seems. Thanks.
Q: MCY: This appears to be nearing an all-time high.
Should that concern me and would you buy here or do you have other ideas.
Also, what is you opinion of banks and financials at this time.
Q: I have a loss over 22% in DND in my non registered account. Would it make sense to high grade to one of the other three given current sell off in all four stocks? Which one would provide the best long term growth?
Thank you
Q: I was way overweight tech and now have some cash to play with.
Looking to grind out some profits while waiting.
Would like your opinion specifically on these two, but would also like any other ideas or trends you see right now.
Q: Greetings 5i,
The Texan power grid fiasco will hopefully force the generation and distribution companies to 'winterise' their infrastructure.
Aside from customers, cui bono?
Thank you, your advice has helped me educate myself, analyse data and make better decisions.

Q: I am more than happy with the long term performance of this company . However the last two quarterly reports issued by the company have been somewhat pessimistic regarding growth prospects as the economy recovers from the covid pandemic . Cash flow is good , and the company will be buying back shares . I wonder if the are now an acquisition target for a larger competitor . What are your thoughts -- are they a buy , sell or hold?
Q: Peter, if with the reopening there is a shift in interest from growth into value stocks which Cdn/US stocks are best positioned on the value side ? In the US would you include Berkshire on the value side due to it sweighting in the Financials etc ? Would you agree with the strategy to shift from growth to value ? Thank you.
Q: Sometimes the market likes an acquisition and other times it does not or maybe the announcement in the middle of a selloff/rotation was not well timed. Wanted to ask your take on Okta acquisition of Auth0?
