Q: Hi team,
Broadcom (customer of Celestica) seems to be making a lot of large deals/partnerships lately with Hyperscalers. This being said, do you see fruits of these deals trickling down to Celestica in the form of more contracts and business for CLS? Can this be a catalyst for CLS that doesn't currently seem to be being talked about?

Thanks,
Shane.

Thanks,
Shane.

Q: It was in the news recently that the Federal Reserve had called in the Banks for briefings. It appeared to be centred around the issue of private credit and exposures in the system. The last time I recall a scenario where the Banks were called in was during the financial crisis in 2008 and at that time there was a lot of discussion about corporate liquidity and potential mergers as the crisis of confidence unfolded. What is your perspective on this situation?

Q: I've been burnt in the past by not trimming gains and having stocks crash and burn so I'm trying to diversify out of individual stocks when I get huge gains and let only a portion of it run. Can you recommend some ETFs to diversify into (CAD and USD), I'm 30s so long horizon and risk tolerance. I currently use XEQT, XSU, VIU, VFV for cad, VT, VTI for us. Let me know if there's any other good options, or if I should just stick to a specific one and why- take more credits if need

Q: Was wandering about their .07cent distribution that was cut from .08cents in April of 2023,looks like it coincided with a run up on rates from 2-3 years previous to that, since that time most of their top ten holdings in the fund have increased their dividend each year.My question ,is their a metric of some kind that would determine if they would reinstate that distribution back to .08cents or do you know how that is determined,I’m a retired long term holder of ZWU and very happy with its income stability
Thanks

Q: Hello,
I own both CAR.UN and DIR.UN, am growing tired of watching CAR's share price steadily decline over the past 5 years.
Could you suggest a replacement for CAR.UN with a better growth profile, decent yield, not necessarily residential?
Thanks as always.

Q: First, want to thank you for the service provided over the years. I recently reached a financial milestone (another 0 at the end of the net worth statement at age 33) and 5i played a massive part. Biggest elements were the great stock picks (obviously) which allowed me to outperform the market quite a bit, as well as the reassurance to stay long when the market has a fit.

My question is can you provide a list of top picks for long term growth that are less associated with AI. I'm heavy in AI, want to stay overweight, however would like to slowly diversify a bit over time. Open to a mix of risk levels.

Q: I entered a small position in Fireweed Metals after talking to someone who worked on the Mactung Project drill program, he claimed some staff were very optimistic based on the size/quality of the Tungsten deposit. Doing some research I see both Canadian and American governments have provided funding, the Lundin group has increased their ownership, up to 20% of outstanding shares if I'm not mistaken, and Tungsten has been called the #1 critical mineral by more than one source online, apperantly China has 80% of worlds production and is limiting exports. All seem to be positive developments here, share price is reacting accordingly, in your experience with past " everything looks really good" in a juniour non producing mining company, will the stock continue to rise?

Q: I sent this Q on April 9 but perhaps it was missed, hence the resend. "Question on PANW vs CRWD post-Anthropic Launch.
I’ve noticed a sharp 'gap up and give back' over the last 48 hours [Apr 9] in both Palo Alto Networks (PANW) and CrowdStrike (CRWD). Initially, the market cheered their inclusion as founding partners in Anthropic’s 'Project Glasswing,' but today they are seeing a significant drop—seemingly on fears that Claude’s new autonomous security capabilities could eventually disrupt incumbent vendors.
1. Do you view today’s drop as a valid structural concern regarding AI-driven disintermediation?
2. Which of these two do you feel is better positioned to integrate 'agentic AI' into their platform without eroding their existing moat?
3. Looking at current valuations, does it make sense to harvest a tax loss in PANW here to rotate into CRWD? Or would you sell and deploy proceeds elsewhere, given the current uncertainty in software businesses? :ao:
