Q: Hi Team,
Knowing you don't give personal advice, how high of a weight would YOU be comfortable holding ISRG.
Thanks

Q: There have been no questions on this small cap for quite awhile. It has caught some buying interest lately. Could you give us an update and share your thoughts as to whether you see it as a buy at this point.
Thank you
Thank you
Q: What do you think of the Fiscal 2024 earnings? Would you consider it a good buy at current valuation?
Q: Do you know the reason why PLTR is up so much today on high volume.
Thanks for the great service

Q: Hello 5i,
Wondering if you have any recommendations in the Biometrics category, either ETF or stock? And any particular thoughts regarding current valuations and future prospects versus other opportunities?
Thanks for your feedback.

Q: It seems Tesla (TSLA) is no longer a favorite pick in 5i Research. Its CEO, Elon Musk, is working on many interesting projects. If revolutionary projects, such as the humanoid robot, are successful, they could bring billions to the company. I don’t own TSLA. What do you think about TSLA this year, next year, or in the future? Please comment. Thanks in advance.

Q: Acknowledging that 5i may not agree with my opinion here, if one were to believe that Solar-Wind Battery Storage systems will eventually be cheaper than Gas / Coal / Nuclear, etc. power, would BEP.UN be the best investment choice?
With regards to the above, are there any other Canadian options - even an ETF - for holding within a non-registered account. I'd want to avoid that T1135 form !

Q: If I were to pick only two themes for long term investment, they would likely be urban water supply and the electrification of North America. (Would appreciate your thoughts on those choices...).
Regarding electrification, I'm well positioned in energy providers, including green & conventional energy producers. I have a half position in HPS.a and a small amount of GRID. I am struggling to decide if I should move upstream into a copper producer (BHP?) or if I should stick with small caps like HPS.A to get more torque.
I'm retired and no longer young; my finances are solid. Most of my investments are with a professional manager. I keep about 20% for fun, but even the fun money is mostly in fairly blue chip stuff. It is in this small chunk that I shall play around, and I am okay with adding a bit of risk.
So the question is: raw material producer or end user stocks? Where would you head? Specific suggestions most welcome.
Thanks in advance.

Q: What do you think about dollar tree. i bought it earlier this year. It had a bad earnings report and dropped a lot. Market over reaction?? Should I buy more ?

Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO)
-
Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF (VTI)
-
Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF (RSP)
Q: What US equity ETF do you suggest for a very long time horizon (I’m in my 20s so likely will keep investing for decades)?
Earlier this year I had been adding to RSP since most of the gains were concentrated in the Mag 7. With the market having broadened out a bit, I’m not sure if I should keep adding to RSP or if I’m better off investing new money in VOO (or VTI).
Which of the 3 ETFs (RSP, VOO, VTI) would you expect to have the best long-term total return?

Q: Your opinion on this company for a nice way to invest in health care with good growth and not a lot of risk?

Q: A week back or so you stated one might be lucky to get NVDA at 110, and now it appears to be approaching the 95 support level back in the spring. I realize these type of questions are predictive in nature, but here goes, what do you see as a long term floor for entry into NVDA.
Also please provide valuation metrics if it hits this target,
Thx

Q: Hi 5i
I have less than 1% in VEEV and have become frustrated with it after 3 years. I noticed that in an answer in June, someone at 5i held it, but an answer in August did not include the disclosure. So either it was sold or it was an oversight. Can you say which?
With the pullback in NVDA ($102) I'm getting very tempted to punt VEEV (S214) and use the proceeds and some of my cash pile to pick up NVDA. Would appreciate your thoughts.

Q: Just renewed earlier this year and realized it's been 10 years. Thanks for all your sage advice over the years and the many multibaggers (I was hooked after Amaya) that came with it.
What initially drew me to 5i was Peter's enthusiasm for small caps. Using his methods can you recommend your current favourite US small caps at the moment (I have lots of Canadian ones thanks to the growth & balanced portfolios).
Thanks, see you in 2034!

Q: what are the metrics you use for CELH?. please compare the current metrics to the last 3 years. what is a good entry point. price? how much does Pepsi own out of the 39 percent insidership.? how much does management own? what is the forecast EPS for 2024/25. thanks Richard
Q: Thanks for your answer of September 5th to my question on SCMI. You did not give me a guideline as to what you thought a good acceptable size would be. Currently it is 3%of my entire portfolio. Do you feel that is too large?
Also, to clarify, would you or would you not at this point sell OOM Covered calls on this positon, say 450 ,470 etc.
You felt due to the higher upside vs downside at this point you would hold the position.
Thanks in advance for your clarification
Sheldon
