Lumine Group Inc. (LMN)
Q: PNG questions:
- What was the catalyst in mid-2024 that finally created a break-out in stock price?
- Why is it such a high-conviction 5i Research stock now compared to back a few years ago ?
- Do we know anything about the quality of management?
- What is the quality of the balance sheet ?
- How out of line is the current valuation of this stock ?
- Does it have similar runway potential that a LMN and TOI might have (with reference to success of CSU) ? ......acknowledging of course that they are in different sectors.

Q: I have been using the website Bigcharts.com for viewing charts of stocks of interest. They have a facility to compare one company to the next, which I find very handy. However, I think, as of today, at least it looks like they've stopped providing charts on Canadian listed stocks. Their only contact information is their physical address. I wonder if this has something to do with the digital tax Canada is charing US companies now. Do you have any insight? And can you provide an alternate site (preferably free) that provides similar capability, especially the ability to compare one stock to the next in a chart over various time frames?
Q: Good morning
I sold BCE for tax loss selling on May 16th and it settled on May 20th. Just curious if I wanted to buy it back when can I do so?
Thanks

Axon Enterprise Inc. (AXON)
-
Global X Defense Tech ETF (SHLD)
-
Select STOXX Europe Aerospace & Defense ETF (EUAD)
Q: Good problem to have - I own the above ETFs. Combined, there are now about 6% of my portfolio - I also own Axon, which is another 3% of my portfolio (up 65%). Am I getting too high into defence-related positions, or does the diversification in the ETFs mean that I could consider higher positions? What would you consider the top end regarding percentage of portfolio, and would you tie the Axon into the calculation? Thanks!

Q: Good morning 5i
I would like your advice on a covered call options strategy. To date I have been selling covered call options on stocks I already own, such as Nvidia, Meta, Google, Shopify, etc. I sell mostly three week to monthly expiry dates. I usual tend to buy back and roll out if the market price surpasses my strike price. ( which I have been doing more frequently, recently).
All of these stocks have very high embedded capital gains and i wouldn’t want to pay the tax if called away. So far buying back and rolling out has worked well, though.
But, I am looking at other strategies, such as buying two or three good stocks, such as amd , palientir, etc specifically to sell call options. Here being called away is not a problem, as one would have little capital gains tax and , say in the case of amd, wouldn’t miss losing it, since I hold Nvidia.
Another possibility is to sell call options on a relatively volatile etf, such as QQQ.
I highly appreciate your advice, as I do in all investing questions

Q: Hi team. A few months ago I asked about the best stocks and/or ETFs for my 32 year old son to invest $12K of RRSP $. We didn't get to this yet.... In the past you recommended a few ETFs. What would you recommend today. I'll help him get this invested through a self directed plan next week. Thank you!
Q: What do you think of women's clothing maker Groupe Dynamite (GRGD)? The sales and profit growth looks pretty good. Stock isn't cheap, though, at about 25 times earnings. I figure you prefer Aritzia, but would GRGD be a decent addition to a small cap portfolio?
Q: Of these three small caps would you own all three at 3 percent? In what order would you start buying? Do you see potential multi baggers?
Q: hi 5i, Are these two OK to buy today? for 3 years hold
thanks
thanks
