The "P" is price, the price of the stock. The "E" is earnings (usually 12-month forward earnings) expressed on a per-share basis. Kinross is $39.52, and forward EPS estimate is $3.17 (2026). Now, K reports in US dollars. In the US, it trades at $29.55. So P/E is $29.55 divided by $3.17, or 9.3x.   The 15x referenced appears to be using 2025 earnings per share.
