Q: Allo-hi, I am looking at CS to add to my other positions in copper. I was looking for price targets. From the research of one broker, I get many targets in Australian$, for example “09 avr. 2026 CS-C Capstone Copper Price Target Cut 6% to A$16.68/Share by Jefferies “. Why A$?

Price Targets did not move too much YTD. What PT do you get from Bloomberg? Is CS fairly valued here?
Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter
on the yahoo fiance post, Canada needs to invest over 1 trillion dollars in the sectors in the next 10 years, see posted note
My question is on the sector of Electicity
does it means companies like FTS, EMA, H and Bep.un? feel free to add some more
of your favorite company in this sector
thanks
Michael

In order to do that, Canada needs to make $1.8 trillion in investments over the coming decade to boost six sectors: oil and gas, metals and minerals, electricity, agriculture, defence and space.

Q: All the above stocks are at a loss in my portfolio. some I've held for years. Which stocks are worth weeding? Thinking that BYD and WELL are lost causes for a while. Please give comments on each stock, why to hold or sell. I have many credits and please take them for a thorough answer. Once again, I'm counting on your feedback!

Q: Dear Peter et al:

First of all KUDOS to Chris for his appearance on BNN Bloomberg today. His voice was calm, measured and answers balanced.

A question for you. Slightly different from the usual. As everyone is talking about US Israel Iran war, the tariffs have taken a backseat! Trump Xi meeting has been postponed. Asia and many small countries in the world and European countries too have been affected by the current crisis involving oil price.

Surely they can't afford to pay the tariffs, can they? How is that going to play out ? They cut down their exports to the US? Is Global recession inevitable EVEN IF peace breaks out? Your fellow Sprott alumni, Rick Rule is fond of saying "Tariffs are taxes"! Isn't that the worst thing one can do during a recession?

My friends from South Asia and South East Asia tell me things pretty hard in their cities. Small businesses have already been shut down. This doesn't get much air time in North America.

Anyway, your take on this is welcome.

Q: I have a significant amount of new funds available for an account I invest in myself - myself including the sage advice of y'all at 5i. I currently have a blend of many of your equities from the growth and balanced funds (21 to date). I have recently 'cut bait' on a few of your long term choices (GSY, TRI, KXS, LMN, PRL - simply because I believe there must be others in your 2 portfolios that have better upside, either intermediate term or long term. And, because I have a pathetic disability at being impatient. Could you kindly recommend 6 or 7 equities from your 2 portfolios that you particularly like for near term purchases, with bright futures, and with entry prices. I do not trade often, and am therefore behind in my purchases of your more recent recommendations. These would be of particular interest.

Q: I trimmed PNG in early Jan. and added to HME thinking I would increase my dividends. With the increase in oil prices HME has run up to be a 5% position. I have been trying to figure out what to do take the quick gains and trim the recent add or hang in there for the dividends as I first thought with the belief that after the war is over the capital gain will shrink on its own. I see HME has announced another special dividend. Not looking for personnel advise but your thoughts of the different options.

Q: TANKERS: with all the focus on shipping around the Gulf of Hormuz do you see tankers as a major opportunity right now?

And if you do: What would be your top 2 picks now? And is there an etf that would be complementary or instead of individual tanker stocks.

Thank you
