Q: Allo-hi, I am looking at CS to add to my other positions in copper. I was looking for price targets. From the research of one broker, I get many targets in Australian$, for example “09 avr. 2026 CS-C Capstone Copper Price Target Cut 6% to A$16.68/Share by Jefferies “. Why A$?
Price Targets did not move too much YTD. What PT do you get from Bloomberg? Is CS fairly valued here?
Thanks.

5i Research Answer:
Australian analysts will typically give targets in A$. Jeffries is US based so that target might just have been directed at its Australian clients. It does trade in Australia. Bloomberg shows 20 analysts: 15 BUY, 5 HOLD, with an average target of $16.05, with a range of $12.30 to $20.00. At 16x earnings we would say the stock is fairly valued, but there is of course upside if copper moves.
