Q: Terrible markets with NQ in bear space. NVTA,PATH, PLTR,BL are at/near new lows. Reportedly PLTR reports before open,May 9. All in Investment a/c.,except BL in Tfsa. Thinking of selling at a loss before they get worse,which maybe offset by potential capital gain of other stocks at a later date. Appreciate u short view on each. Txs for u usual great views & services.

- 2-3 from the balanced / Income portfolios
- 2-3 outside of the portfolios (either Canadian or US please)

Q: What's your take on Brookfield Business Partners? Its stock value has been just about cut in half YTD and is currently at 7 PE which seems stupidly cheap. But I know Brookfield's entities can't always really be judged on PE multiples Why has this stock been hit as if it's a high-flying tech? And if the market is deeply undervaluing it might Brookfield buy it out as it did its real estate entity?

Q: What do you think of the Bloomberg commodity index going back to 2005, very big move off of the low. Commodity Cycles are very long lived are they not? Can go on for many years. They have been outperforming Global Equities for awhile now, do you see this continuing for the next 5 years?
What would your best way to participate in this shift.?

Q: lithium america getting pummeled today. Is there anything stock specific going on here or is it just a sour feeling on equities in general? I need more lithium exposure. I have a small position in E3 which is paid for (got a double so I sold half) but it is still really a concept since their extraction plant is still only a pilot project. LAC seems to be the go to name for pure play lithium exposure. Is the downside on LAC substantial in your honest opinion?

Q: A question earlier this year was what price would you consider this really cheap. You said anything below 3. Today it is close to 2 and may go below it this week. That said do you think it is a good time to sell for a tax loss. My worry is any good news would make this pop. Perhaps I'm wrong though and in this environment barely anything will make that happen. Historically what is more likely.
