Q: I'd like to increase investments in industrial, consumer discretion and consumer staples and also increase U.S. holdings.
I'm considering Amazon and COST for consumer names - are there other U.S. names you would recommend in these sectors and please suggest a U.S. industrial as well.
Q: I would like to make a small investment in India; now the most populated country on earth. I like ZID that has returned about 81% over the past 5 years, but the market cap is only $122M - is this ETF too small? I like FIH.U with a trailing P/E of 6.23 and market cap of $1.94B, but it has only increased 13% over the past 5 years - can FIH.U only be bought in USD? Would appreciate your thoughts on ZID and FIH.U, or perhaps you have another suggestion regarding investment in India.
Thanks!
Q: What are your thoughts on UBER since the recent 4Q 2023 report and subsequent share buyback anouncement? Is there debt to equity ratio a concern? Many thanks.
Q: I'm evaluating these 4 microcaps, I'd like to add to add a small position in the one that has the most potential for returns. Ignoring the risk of these being very small market caps. Can you rank these in order that you would buy if you were looking for a microcap with big potential? Or if you would avoid any of them all together you can say so. Thx
Q: I have a position in TOI and with the recent run, have some decent profit. You have mentioned a few times that TOI is expensive. Does it make sense to sell half my position and purchase LMN or do you think there is some positive momentum here and let TOI run a little more?
Q: They appear to have reported a pretty good quarter; have good momentum and raised the dividend by 9%. Do you see any concerns? How big of a concern is the apparent slowing of the Chinese economy to MFC? Still prefer SLF to MFC?
Q: On February 9 you were asked a question to screen for mid size co. that yielded more than 3% and had good opportunity for growth in the next several years. WFC was included in that list. I have searched on TD Waterhouse for details on recent financials without success. Can you go over the companies financials over the past 5 years and where you see growth? Thank you for all you do.

Q: BITCOIN as an asset .
With the US approval of bitcoin ETFs the volatility of bitcoin will likely decreases. It was approved as a high risk/speculative asset. However the business media seems to discarded the warning and reports bitcoin related news like any established asset or company without any warning disclaimer and contributing to the hype of bitcoin.
What is your general take on bitcoin as an asset and would you invest in it?
What kind of warning would you give a small do your own investors in Canada who wander about investing in bitcoin? Thankyou.

Q: Its been having a nice and steady move to the right. At what price does the valuation look fair? Also with all the talk of EV sales slowdown will this have an impact on the demand for their products? Not sure what % of their rev / sales is tied to the EV market.
