Q: Comments on SHOP earnings please. Looks like a good beat on top line sales. Is this enough to sustain its recent performance?

Q: Is CGI a buy here?
Q: What is your opinion on IDRV ETF?
Q: It was pointed out to me that when a certain ETF has USD and CAD versions, the USD version tends to have the higher yield. Why is that? As of May 1, 2020, for example, this is true for ZST/ZUS.U, ZTL/ZTL.U, ZDY/ZDY.U, ZIC/ZIC.U, ZWH/ZWH.U
The BMO website claims that the liquidity of an ETF has more to do with the liquidity of its underlying holdings, rather than the the ETF itself. Do you agree? Case in point - ZDY.U is fairly thinly traded, with a relatively small number of shares outstanding. There are many days in which no shares of ZDY.U are traded at all. Yet, whenever I purchase shares of ZDY.U using a market order (against 5i's advice), I get a price very close to the bid/ask price, and the bid-ask spread appears quite narrow. Thank you.

Q: Datametrex has been halted since prior to today's opening. What would cause a stock to be halted for more than six hours?
Q: Fiera Capital wishes to get shareholder approval of the transfer of the transferred assets to New Fiera Canada in exchange for debt and/or equity securities of New Fiera Canada. Is this a good or bad thing for shareholders or of no consequence.? This info. came from the management circular for Fiera's upcoming annual general meeting. Thanks ,as always ,for your great work.

Q: Not really a question. In reference to clients question on ATE results. You failed to mention that the trials have to do not only with pain but ulcers and bleeding that may be caused when taking various forms of pain medication. I know this first hand. Very important part of results. I’m looking forward to it not only as a investor but someone whom it would benefit.

Q: Hi, Could you please provide Earning estimates for Parkland. Thanks
Q: There has been a lot of talk lately, especially in the US of going to negative rates. If this was ever to happen, how would this ETF do in that kind of climate. I have a hard time understanding the idea of negative rates and what would be the end result.

Q: Hi Ryan and Peter,
I have held PNE for years and years and have a cost base of $1+. I lost so much money on it that I just sort of tucked it away. Now BMO turns bullish on nat gas, Andrew McCreath says dry gas is the best and PNE has it in spades. Now today the stock is up +20%!
On one hand, it has high debt and they have never turned a profit. On the other, there is large insider ownership and they are still buying.
What is your outlook for the sector? How does this dry gas and your nat gas outlook effect PNE’s projected earnings? Would you average down here?
I was also too chicken to buy birchcliff at 60 cents but should I now get in on this space either averaging down, going with a new company or staying away all together?
Thanks guys! Keep up the great work.

Thank you

Q: Although not a question just a kudo to 5I for your recommendation to Phil on the MAW105 Global Balanced Fund. I moved 1 third of my self directed LRIF into this fund at the early beginning of Covid-19. Although it's not lighting up the heavens I am in the + column (barely). It sure is boring but that's what their selling.
Q: I thought I could rely on the earnings calendar of the TMX Money web site (tmxmoney.com), but numerous times I have found it is not complete. Example: As I write this at 8pm EST on May 5th, it does not list KXS earnings on May 6th, yet my RBC Direct Investing calendar shows KXS reporting earnings on May 6th.
In the TMX Money web site they do list whether the earnings will be released before markets open, or after markets close (good); whereas the RBC Direct Investing calendar does not tell me that information (bad).
Isn't TMX Money owned by TMX Group (that runs the TSX)? If that is the case why would their earnings calendar be so incomplete (and therefore unreliable)?
Do you know of a (free) RELIABLE web site that has an accurate earnings calendar?
