Q: It seems like dividend payers are starting to respond to the possibility that interest rates may have come close to their peaks. Some Canadian and dividend payers are down substantially. I'm looking to invest in some of these companies that I hope I can look back a year from now and say -- that was a smart investment! Please list ten strong companies that you think are great buys today for income and capital appreciation.

Q: Currently own SIS for a few years with small capital gains and collecting the monthly dividend. Looking for more capital gains and not in need of the monthly dividend payment. How’s HPS.A looking from a valuation and it is getting closer to 1B market cap. Looking to sell SIS and buy HPS.A for some more total returns. Thoughts?

Q: Since the mine in Panama is 20% of FNV revenues and the share price is down about 20% from the approximate $200 valuation expected with the current price of gold (based on past episodes), would you consider the total loss of this revenue stream to be "in the price", or is there further downside if the court ruling goes against the mine?

Q: Hi 5i,
I hold a position in an RRSP, it pays a dividend but is not dripped.
My question is if share price is $30 and i receive a $2 dividend, am I correctly considering I have reduced cost base by $2 per share to $28?
Is this correct or is there a better way to view overall investment value?

Q: Last week on BNN market, call Jason Del vicario, was asked the question on kxs . He suggested that the caller look at MANH in the US instead.
Can you give an opinion on Manh vs kxs and if u could only buy one which would you buy?

He also mentioned that there is no withholding tax for Canadians on dividends from UK and Hong Kong domiciled stocks
