Q: Lspd, Engh, Otex and Dsg, which one is faster growth and which one is the cheapest , which one you like it better?

Q: Hi, TRZ fell nearly to $14 last week, even if the Air Canada $18 offer has been approved (except for government). I do not think that AC could walk out of the deal or change the conditions of the offer because of the changing market or economy. The investors do not believe this will be approved ? You mentioned before a 55% probability- is this still your number? Many thanks.

Q: Hi,
In this down market and in your professional experience, how do you recommend legging into the market? Lets say you have $100k in cash to invest, would you invest that in equal % parts over the next X months? If you think mild to severe recessions last between 9 months-2 years, best to leg in in equal % parts over that time? Or what do you think about investing more as the markets drop more? So lets say market drops 10%, invest 10%, market drops down another 10%, invest 20%? Thoughts? Investment horizon is 10 yrs+.

Q: Hello 5i,
I usually only hold individual stocks but am wrestling with choosing a “green” company. I like the potential of companies like GRN,XBC and QST but their size gives me pause. Can you recommend and ETF that captures these smaller companies as well as larger ones to reduce overall risk?

Q: Could you please comment on Pl recent earnings. Also do you think the hit today on VMD is over done as the adjustments were prior period adjustments which probably means the accountants are giving a harder look at current financial statements. The earning were weaker but he Revenue growth was very strong although the net income was weak. The emphasis at this point in this young company their focus should be on growth and the are nearing the $100 million run rate which should bring in new investors..

Q: Assuming we get a rate cut of 0.5% by Poloz tomorrow, or, over the next few months, how bad will that impact CIBC's NIM and can we estimate the hit on their earnings? Is one bank more exposed to NIM than others? Regional banks are not reacting well right now. Thank you.

Q: Hi there. It seems like in this Coronavirus hysteria nobody is excited about testing or treating cancer based on the trading of Guardant and Exact sciences. Do you like the current levels as a nice entry point for a speculative and long term position in each? It seems oversold unless I am missing a fundamental problem. To put a sharp point on the question, are they good buys today?

Q: You are right when you say preferred shares are not bonds, they fall fast in a bad market.

Would it be wise to add a modest amount of ZPR or CPD during this period and take the dividend for a while? This would be in an RRSP
