Q: I am going to add to at least one of my under weight companies. In what order would you add? Please provide a few notes as to why.

Q: ATD has had a very nice run over the past year. Having said that, do you view it as more of a defensive play that will not do as well relative to other positions if the Canadian economy starts to grow more rapidly or do you think it is the type of company that will do well relative to others in any economy? I am trying to figure out whether it is starting to look like a good time to trim it back any take some profits. Thanks as always.

AC sp continues to slide even as globe and mail reports "executive bonuses fly higher after a profitable year"......Does AC have any upside potential from here? Seems AC is worse off than during the almost total shut down of airline industry during pandemic or am i looking at it too pessimistically....

Do you think AC could go bankrupt....
Longtime shareholder exploring alternatives buy sell or hold....Suggestions for alternatives to this space. 2 year time frame...

Q: Lots of comments around that there may not be a lot of upside to the Telcos. And we know that covererd call etfs`s also have built-in limited upside. Any thoughts on swapping Telus for a covered call etf for income?

How do you view DLTR earnings release 1.7b loss closing 1000 stores etc..
In light of this would you expect material impact for DOL and its upcoming earning release... I did see this morning that national bank upgraded price target for DOL...

Current holder but with only a 1 to 2 year hold. Would you continue to hold DOL...

Q: Looking to ensure I understand the RESP contribution limit. I see you can contribute any amount to an RESP, subject to a lifetime contribution limit of $50,000 per beneficiary

My daughter was born in 2017 and I have been adding $2500 per year to get the $500 grant. Assuming she will go to university at 18 ($2500 x 18 = $45K) does that mean I can only add 5K to reach the life time contribution limit and anything above that will cause and issue?

Q: Hi, Celestica shares pulled back, over past 2-3 days, along with most AI related stocks. However, most of these names including CLS nicely bounced back today. I managed to start a small 1% position, yesterday at $59. Based on your favourable comments ( also in 5i Growth Portfolio), and as a strong beneficiary of the AI related future growth, I would be inclined to hold on to this as a core position and may be add more, over time. What is your view on its current valuation and where do you see the stock in, say 18-24 months from now ? Thanks

Q: I have long held both and am intrigued as they now move in opposite directions. Within the last few months I believe MARA has reached heights 50% greater than today's levels and yet despite the spike in BTC, it falls while MSTR rolls. I understand that MSTR is closer to a pure play on bitcoin whereas MARA is a miner and has operating risks and would ask if you can explain what has led to MARA being punished as BTC rose from 50k to 70? If gold goes up, so to do most miners so I'm thinking there as to be more to the story. Lastly, if you believe BTC goes higher, does exposure to a company like MARA who stand to benefit make sense to add or hold?

Q: With increasing power demand (AI, EV's, data centers, etc.), what positive or negative impact does this have on BEP.UN and FTS ?

Are there any Canadian REIT's that are currently investing in the apparent demand for data centers - perhaps DIR.UN or GRT.UN ? I know that BIP.UN is now investing in this area.

Q: I am looking for a US listed ETF that holds US listed Dividend Growing Equities. I have found RDVY (First Trust Rising Dividend ETF) and CUD (Ishares US Dividend Growers). Both have relatively high MERs for ETFs (0.49 % and 0.6% respectively). Both have a current distribution of around 2% yield. Is there anything else out there in this segment of the market ? While CUD is hedged I am not too concerned about that at this time. Would you prefer one of these over the other or would you think splitting between the two. I will be holding them in my RRSP and am looking to invest around 1% of my total RRSP holdings in this investment.
