Q: Is there any particular news about why the Trade Desk (TTD) continues to decline? I thought the last quarter was quite strong. I also read there are rumors that Netlfix is considering ads which I would assume TTD would benefit greatly from. Can you comment on your thoughts moving forward.

Q: As a follow-up to my earlier question since TA owns 60% of RNW and according to the Globe the market cap of RNW is $4.9 billion, TA's share of RNW would be $2.94 billion. TA's total market cap is $3.45 billion. How would you asses the value of TA's other assets. Are any of these assets in renewable energy.

I have question regarding the following list of “fallen angels”. These ten stocks have achieved significant drops in valuation since Dec. 31, 2020. Can you please rank these “fallen angels” in terms of the best risk-return profile over a five-to-ten-year hold? Everyone likes a bargain! Sometimes it is possible to survive a falling knife particularly if you use tungsten as a shield!

I have acuity , emerge, haivision and mcloud tech as tech stocks in my portfolio , all are down at this time . I am thinking of selling off and putting funds into goeasy and Upstart .What is your opinion . When people start to buy back into growth stocks which of these high tech will recover quicker .

Q: I'm in the fortunate position of sitting on a double here in just a few short weeks. NTR represents almost 4% of my quite well diversified portfolio in a cash account. I'd rather not pay CRA a capital gains tax but don't want to see my investment reverse either. What would you do? Partial sell to allow for zero cost? Nothing?

Q: You used to be quite positive on GILD in response to subscriber questions asking for recommendations in the US Healthcare sector. Have you given up on the GILD turnaround story? At what price would you buy in?

Now, your top choice seems to be ABBV on the basis that it is performing better and your belief that Humira patent issues are well-known and baked into the stock price. However, ABBV is trading at an all-time high (not just a 52 week high) and GILD is trading at a price that is a 52 week low and lower than its closing price in 2013. Which stock has the better risk-return profile and why? Even if you think ABBV is the better long term investment, I am still nervous buying in at all-time high prices - what would be a good entry point on a pull-back?

Q: Peter,

Go on the assumption that we will be in for a period of slow and consistent interest rate increases. I am very interested in how a bond fund could possibly increase the NAV during this period. For every uptick in the rates every single holding, whether of a short or long duration loses value. Do you agree ? What could a fund manager possibly do during this period to actually increase the NAV? I guess I am interested in the tricks of the trade or is it simply grab the umbrella and hope the rain eventually stops.
