Q: If you owned BRK.B and were thinking about moving out and adding two other companies such as ATRL & WCN to a portfolio what would your thoughts be?

Q: When I think about the large impact AI has had on these companies I can't help but think some contrarian thoughts:
> Even if AI can replicate some of the activities of the engineering firms, there is a lot of liability on these projects they work on which require human intervention / approval / oversight
> Companies would not have the requisite engineering resources in house to verify if what the AI is doing would be safe/reliable for large construction projects
> Infrastructure as a whole will continue to be needed especially if AI growth continues which reinforces the project pipeline
> AI can be used by WSP, STN in-house to lower costs and become more efficient so they could turn around projects faster or cheaper and reduce labour on projects
> Wouldn't AI also allow them to develop more insights/data which in turn could be used to better manage projects / highlight risks or use data to better quote (which in turn reduces losses) etc

I see AI as an enabler of these companies but not necessarily replacing them - maybe on the low-end side of their business where liability/risk isn't high but on big projects you would think working with an outsource 'expert' will still be required

Am I way off in my thinking?

Q: Can you suggest some stock and ETF's traded on both US and CDN exchanges that employ many blue collar workers that may not be effected by AI implementation. My thinking is that one always needs humans to do "actual" labour like building homes, plumbing & electrical maintenance etc. Does this make sense?

Q: I hold Wsp in a tfsa and I am looking for a Canadian “construction” firm or similar company that I can pair with to take advantage of government infrastructure investment that will compliment Wsp. Recommendations and reasoning? Thanx.

Q: Friday’s meeting between Mark Carney and the Premiers promises to lead to increased spending and capital to build infrastructure related to natural resources, alternative energy and technology. There seems to be a vibe consistent with Brookfield visions and foci. Carney may in fact be a catalyst to moving the Canadian economy out of the current malaise. Skepticism is warranted but are there any specific stocks that we should consider in light of what could develop rather quickly?

Q: I already hold a bit of TFII and WSP but would like more in industrials. I’m thinking of either adding to TFII or starting a position in STN or TT. Is there still good reason to add to TFII? If not, both STN and TT have good momentum, but as I already hold WSP, would TT make more sense?

Q: Further to Rajeev's question ie: the STN offering, how do offerings like this work ? As the price is at a discount to the current price, it seems unfair to existing shareholders. Are they given first opportunity or is it just open to the public ? Why would'nt a big player just buy and then sell the position in the market to skin the difference ?
