Q: Good Day; I'm considering a switch between my current holding of AQN (I've had for a few years and have an unrealized capital gain) and moving into NPI with the recent acquisition news. The capital gain tax consideration aside, how would you compare the growth and dividend profile between these two companies for the medium to long term future based on the recent NPI acquisition.

Q: I want to buy positions in these companies in my unregistered account. Could you put them in order to purchase based on market economy timing, if possible. And in my TFSA I'd like to purchase ECN, LGO, ATS--any thoughts on sequence and timing of purchase? Thank you.

Q: Can you comment on the effect of rising interest rates on BAM? My understanding is that higher interest rates will lower the valuations of the hard assets that Brookfield owns.

In light of expectations of higher interest rates in the future, would you be more inclined to allocate more capital to financials (banks, insurance), over Brookfield?

Q: Further to my question of March 19, I have received the funds which represent 15% of my non registered account ( and 7.5 % of total portfolios).
I have added the hedged ZQQ to the list as I have no tech exposure in any portfolio and have a US property being 20% of my total assets, thus providing adequate currency diversification.
I used one third of the new funds to purchase BAM and am now looking for the next 2. Your suggestion and reasons are appreciated. Derek

Q: why are the shares in each company down?. is it because the mkt feels the merger with Kansas will be denied for both companies? . for the long haul do you feel this drop presents a buying opportunity for either company regardless of any merger? thanks Richard
