Q: I never bought a REIT because I own another investment condo in Toronto. Would you factor that to your entire portfolio or add another REIT unrelated to residential like MPW, AMT or something industrial? If you would add regardless of having another income property, what would you add?
The condo rent has positive cash flow and the equity is about 3 percent of my overall portfolio. Analytics suggests a 4 percent REIT holding.

Q: What are you thoughts on the FED meeting today? It sounded like the Interest rate path has not been decided yet, and would be revisited at the next meeting.

Q: The last MF that my mom holds in her non-reg account is CI Canadian All Cap Fund Series X. All other (higher fee) MFs have been converted to low cost ETFs. If she sells, there's a capital gain to be paid. It's not a trivial amount but it won't trigger OAS clawback. If she were your mom would you suggest she convert this to an ETF as well or is the MER low enough to just let it be? Or is one's view of what the Feds will do with cap gain inclusion rate a bigger factor?

Q: I own LSPD in a registered account and am just breaking even. Considering swapping it out for SHOP, which I suspect may be lower risk and a sounder investment going forward. Given the wild ride both companies have had recently, which do you believe will perform better in the long term (3-5 years)? Thanks.

Q: I have a 1/3 position of TLS at $20, and at some point looking to add more exposure to the security/tech sector. Your thoughts on this, and recommended way of going about it? Maybe add another 1/3 of TLS, start a small position in CRWD, combination of both, or pivot elsewhere?

Q: We recently initiated a TFSA for a family member (long-term buy & hold); the 10 securities purchased (in approximately equal amounts) were: Aritzia (ATZ), Unilever (UL), GoEasy (GSY), SunLife Financial (SLF), BAM (BAMa), WSP (WSP), Algonquin Power (AQN), Telus Int'l (TIXT), and an ETF called XUSR. Still have ~15% capital (~$12,000) to invest. Which 3 or 4 of these would you have greatest conviction to add to? And/or is there another security which would complement the above?

Q: Can you give me your read on ZPAY. Looking for an income component of my portfolio with a good capital preservation. The dividend seems high, which I like, but based on their holding leaves me wondering where the revenue is coming from and will it be a safe allocation of capital. Your comments on it trading below NAV would also be appreciated.
