Q: Hello, Two months ago, I wrote to inquire about why the online stock return calculator on Stock Channel Canada was no longer working and hoped you could refer me to a new one that I might not know about. Now, after a few months, I have found that the site is back up and running. I just wanted to let you know. Thank you for your years of wonderful work.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Q: Hi, have you heard any news on GLXY's US listing? I've been wondering why it's taking so long.

BMO Covered Call Technology ETF (ZWT $54.33)
-
Global X Enhanced Nasdaq-100 Covered Call ETF (QQCL $23.61)
Q: Hi, I am considering buying the dip into some covered-call tech funds. I was looking at a roughly equal investment in ZWT and QQCL. I'm aware of the limited upside potential of these funds but am buying for income with some capital gain (ZWT). I'd appreciate your thoughts on the possible pitfalls inherent in these CC funds. Thanks.
Q: Terravest stock seems to be getting its traction back, with a new 52 weeks high today, after a sustained period of drawdown, following the equity raise. Could you please help understand some reasons for investors' renewed interest, Also, do you expect this momentum to continue into earnings and thereafter?
Thank You

Q: LMN seems to be falling slightly out of favour in your rankings, do you still consider it a good buy and hold inside a TFSA if I can get on at approx $36.00, any Idea when 2nd quarter financials will be released by them? Thanks.
Q: What is your opinion of this ETF for a current buy? It would seem that defence spending is not going down for the forseeable future. Thank you. Cheers

Q: I am holding a lot of cash in anticipation of buying a condo in the next 6 months. My main concern is capital preservation. What is safer: short term bonds or HISAs? Assuming a significant decrease in interest rates during the next 6-8 months, would short term bonds offer a greater total return than HISAs?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Pender Corporate Bond Fund Class F (PGF510 $13.04)
Q: I have these bond funds: PGF510, CVC, ZAG, XLB, along with mostly GIC's in my fixed income side of portfolio. Do these Bond funds pay interest the same as the GIC's or do they pay Dividends so I would get the Dividend Tax credit? All are in my margin account. Would any of these be worth adding to now that they have gone up somewhat? Thanks so much!

Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF (VWO $50.23)
-
Global X Intl Developed Markets Equity Index Corporate Class ETF (HXDM $53.48)
Q: Although I realize you are not tax experts, I have a general question about holding ETF’s in an an open account. My understanding is that Canadian-listed ETF’s are exempt from the T1135 filing. So I believe HXDM, even though an International ETF, could be held in a non-registered account without any filing requirement. Is my assumption correct?
On the other hand, any ETF could be held within an RRSP without filing (eg. VWO).
